(I actually quite like ESO, but not as a "multiplayer Skyrim" kind of game, it's an MMO) And the horrible buggy mess that was and still is a lore-breaking mash-up of unfitting themes cash grab was made by the same people who brought us Skyrim and Fallout 4. (Bethesda themselves) You want Fallout New Vegas multiplayer?, Get them to put Obsidian on the job and somehow convince them to hire some people who can actually work on netcode instead of giving their already existing employees crash courses on it and expecting them to put out top quality work. TLDR; Neither of the games were outsourced, but the truth about both of them is even more depressing than what you thought was the truth.
ESO isn't a half bad MMORPG, and while I love that the game has the Elder Scrolls IP to work with, but it's certainly not the small-scale coop multiplayer most people are looking for.

multiplayer morrowind when, the mod actually works really well and has a server browser list even with a bunch of advanced servers or you could run your own instance for friends
To fix the infinite loading glitch I usually start a new game and as soon as my character starts waking up I will pause the game and load the save I want. Works every time.

I played this like two years ago with a buddy for a couple of hours. Pretty similar experience, maybe less crashes, but certainly plenty instances of some nolife swooping in to blow me up with a nuke launcher while wearing a hazmat suit then disappear and wait for me to come back to that giant cross place to try to take the stuff back or whatever. So cool, this high stakes low reward PvP, wow!
In my eyes, the perfect Fallout game is one with the overall aesthetic and vibe of 3/New Vegas, but with some more colors and updated graphics, some of the same goofiness too, yet balanced out with equal amounts of darkness from Fallout 1 and 2. A sort of grungy and somewhat decrepit experience. On top of that, multiplayer functionality that just feels like me and the boys cosplaying as irradiated cowboys high off of jet when we aren’t being serious. I wanna hear my spurs jingle jangle jingle while a small sect of the Brotherhood of Steel is being devoured by Super Mutants right in front of me, and the boys and I are completely immersed as we try to save ourselves, and we have to try to crawl back to whatever watering hole we came from and attempt to forget the horrors we witnessed… until the one dude pulls out a butterfly knife that makes French guy sounds and we all start laughing our asses off
I heard if you have too many Skyrim mods the only thing left for the player to do is roaming fights. So like, getting back to basics but keeping the hard drive full. (Its free real estate)

Not sure if your planning on releasing any more elden ring content, but if you are a few months ago a mod was released for the game that adds seamless co-op from the very beginning of the game to the very end. I believe you can use characters from the vanilla game to do this, it would make playing with the rest of your crew a lot easier and also allow you guys to do more of the games activities together
