    I was given a Kirkbride NASB Thompson Chain Reference Bible from my church in 2003 when I graduated high school. I still have it, but I recently purchased a new one from Zondervan to replace it.

      We’ll let ya know what some of the differences are if any. I think Zondervan will do a good job keeping up the tradition

    Get the thumb indexing.
    It’s well worth it.

      That’s good advice. I typically don’t like indexing…but on this Bible…it would be fantastic.

      It's a pretty good tool. Lots of ways to use it to learn and study.

    I have one of these in the NASB. I like it, but with the new editions coming in 2022, Zondervan needs to use more opaque paper, they need more bookmarks as you said, and I'm fairly certain that nothing inside has been updated since probably the mid-90s. So the interior needs a content refresh as well as a layout/font refresh (which they're doing, judging by the NIV pictures they've released). If they do that, this is going to be a must-have for everyone.

    Which version is the latest and How good is the text and prints

    • @ClaimingChristianity
      @ClaimingChristianity  2 года назад

      Well...I'm not sure what you mean by how good is the text and prints. The font size is on the small size but that's because of the amount of information that 's packed on to a page. And the paper is on the thin side...but again...that's because of the amount of information packed into what is really a pretty small package.
      Here's a link to what I believe is the latest edition put out basically in 2021. (although TCR has been published for over a hundred years)

    I purchased one in bonded leather. It was horrific. Absolutely the worst bonded leather I have ever seen.

    Have been considering one of these for myself so I came to your channel hoping to get some idea of how these are used. What I found brings me to the conclusion that you don’t know how to use it any more then me. You spent the entire Video telling me there is so much here that you can’t help me ! Not taking one item from start to finish so I could under stand it or get some idea of how to use it. Sorry.

      Sounds like you were looking for a tutorial. So sorry. This was a review. Not intended to be an extensive training on how to use it. Just intended to show what’s inside. You’ll prob have better luck with Randy Browns Tutorial on Zondervans page.
