Such a great doppel, I get fruity/dry notes of red apples, raisins and mild chocolate on the finish. It's also somewhat yeasty with notes of clove - love it!
Great review. Definitely going to pick this on up. Glad you survived that polar 40 degree weather, Coldilocks. Keep the great reviews coming! Joe, Bronx, NY
Cincinnati Ohio USA, a possible idea for more of your brewer reviews. I’d love to see you travel to a few local pubs and Gastro pubs and bars, and try the local draft beer there, just a thought.
Niles, Michigan. We’re out of dry January, but I think you should do another head to head of Stella Liberté and Heineken 0.0. Another recommendation is Asahi.
Coz here, from the State of Shock reporting in! That's some good brew, right there. Not lawnmower beer, more like a cold weather brew. I give it a 4.50 out of 5.00 Prost!
Vernon NJ. Big Paulaner fan here. But I’ve never had this one. I can find I will pick up a six. Paulaner is one of my top three favorite beers in the world. The thing with these top quality beers such as this brand or a Guinness is they are so much cheaper than 90% of craft beers. And Guinness and Paulaner are in the top three. Forget the craft beers,I will take these any day of the year and twice every Sunday.
I live in Milford NJ along the Delaware. Spent 20 yrs snowboarding up at Creek. Try a Paulaner Salvator! I prob first had it like 25 yrs ago as a young lad. Good stuff if you like bocks!
Hey bro! Watching from Knoxville, Tennessee and drinking my FIRST Yeungling Light Lager. I had the traditional lager, I thought it was kinda mid, so we'll see how it is
Check out my review for the YL. I had one the other day for the first time in forever. Surprising color for a light beer. Thanks for the view, sub and support - CHEERS!
Thank you for the excellent videos. I like when you compare to popular beers against each other. Watching in East Cobb county, Marietta, Georgia God’s country
Im from Hamburg Germuny Munich is far away from me but we also could buy this beer in Germany . Its so nicht how you describe this beer . Im drinkin IT wright now!
This is stupid in price in England £7- £8 a bottle. Its a great beer but too overpriced. I remember going to the states and in a bar in NY I got a hold of Double Diamond, This is not available in England anymore. Yet I saw it in bottles and asked the bar keeper could I looked at where it was brewed. It was in Burton on Trent. A Town which I used to frequent in Blighty. It was at one time the home of great beer. Ansells Bitter, Bathams, Long Life. All but a few remain. As Inbev, Molson Coors, Aashai, SAB Miler. If you try beer made and brewed outside of England they are great. Alas they may carry the name, but are brewd and made using crappy British water. Even Stella brewed under License in England tastes completely different to Stella on the European continent. By the way if you can find Sagres beer do try that. Its a very pleasant BBQ beer. Carling is the worst beer ever. That is the Englsih beer of the Englsih Football (Soccer Hooligans).
Oh Christ I'm in Vietnam for two months and all they seem to drink these days here are Huda 4.7% abv's because they are about 50 cents a can. They drink twice as many twice as fast in order to catch a buzz. But I have been drinking those Salvatore's for over 40 years. They are great! Salute!

It's my absolutely favorite on the shelf beer. It tastes like it was kissed by a warm loaf of banana nut bread.
It has the spice of spiced rum just slightly. Fantastic beer!
Beer snob, I'm shocked. This may be the best beer review for giving the beer the respect which the beer deserves.
Great review. Definitely going to pick this on up. Glad you survived that polar 40 degree weather, Coldilocks. Keep the great reviews coming! Joe, Bronx, NY
Gonna have to try. Is $10/11 expensive for a six pack of beer these days? I feel like the quality there makes it cheap for that price
Yeah, I'll have to agree. I'm just cheap by nature. lol. Thanks for the view, sub and support - CHEERS!

Richmond, VA!
One of the capitals of the over-saturated craft beer boom lol
Yes, Richmond is. Thanks for the view, sub and support - CHEERS!
Not Labatt Copper here in Dearborn, MI. Lol. Bells Two Hearted tonight. My favorite.
Two Hearted is great but 200 calories a beer and loads of carbs....
Coz here, from the State of Shock reporting in! That's some good brew, right there. Not lawnmower beer, more like a cold weather brew. I give it a 4.50 out of 5.00 Prost!
Goldsboro in eastern NC. This one is an acquired taste 😬

You've been spying on me! I just finished a Salvator and then your video shows up! I think I'll have another (I did hoard them)!
i hope you're not buying it all up so no one else can have any. i can't stand people who do that.
