I’ll tell y’all right now these shoes are legit! Just finished playing a round in these shoes. It feels like basketball shoes with spikes. Ankle support is great. Suuuuuper comfortable. (Comfort is subjective but Idk gotta trust me in that.. it’s great) traction keeps you planted leaves you confident on any lie. Water proof as well. Idk had a couple beers before writing this but these shoes are great. Idk if the carbon version is worth 49 more dollars because the traction on the non-carbon version shoes is already really good
I bought this shoe in the end of July. Unfortunatly the shoe broke in the plastic lace loop after only 2 months. Ive contacted FJ and We Will see what happnens. Other than that, amazing shoes for me. Im scratch golfer but i weigh in at 105kg so rly need a stable shoe. Most comfortable shoe ive tried and put my best round ever this year in theese.
I don't believe it's a gimmick - I think it provides a lot more support in the shoe for areas that are quite important for utilising ground force. That being said, I have no data to back this up. In all honesty, both models are very good shoes.
Hands down THE most comfortable “casual” golf shoes I have ever worn. Agreed on the stability too but it’s not new as you said. I have the FJ Premiere Packards too which are quite comfortable too but these are next level.

Is the carbon model worth the extra $? Both look great and I am sure are fantastic, just wondering if I should splurge or it's just a gimmick.

Totally agree! The packards look the part but these take the top spot because of how comfy they are. Like you're wearing slippers!

Pro SL carbon or hyper flex carbon both are $$$, standard version are fantastic and $40 less

I have them they’re very comfortable, but they look cheap. Sorry they just look plastic and cheap.😂😂
