- Here is our story of how we met in Thailand in 2012 way before we became digital nomads. We were both on our own solo journeys before meeting in Pai (Spicy Pai) after a series of coincidences lead us both there.
I just found this vid and can't help but think, " and here we are with the baby bean on board" thats a great love story ❤️
me too ....I visited Pai in 1999 (still have a handmade cookbook from there) and had no idea it was where they met ...

Alex everything happens for a reason as I’m sure you know; life works in amazing ways!! 5 years (or more not sure) later y’all have made beautiful memories, traveled to breathtaking parks and monuments!! Most excitingly y’all recently found out Emma is pregnant & y’all are having a baby!! So excited to meet little baby travel bean and watch y’all’s journey after baby is here 🤗👶🏼 can’t think of two more deserving people to become new parents, such sweet genuine souls! Plus you two are truly such an inspiration and a HUGE motivator to follow my dreams, be happy, and to step outside my comfort zone! Love love love this channel and it’s relatability. What a lovely story, I am a big believer in fate but I wish I had done what you did and tossed a coin as I had a bad feeling about a motorbike trip and sure enough I had an accident not my fault and I am still in and out of hospital 6 operations later 20 months on. I know you posted this five years ago, but… I think I was meant to watch this today. This will be the fourth Valentine’s Day since I lost my husband to cancer, and I miss him terribly, as you might imagine. We, too, had one of “ those” meetings, involving a summer algebra class, my tendency to transpose digits and showing up in the right class but the absolutely WRONG section, and the algebra teacher from hell. I think the only reason my husband and I stayed in that class for two weeks was so we had an excuse to keep meeting up! Anyway, instead of feeling sad, I’m laughing and remembering our first date, where he impressed me by forgetting to bring any money followed by me impressing HIM by locking my keys in the car!

I've come to realize how much I really don't know about you guys which is normal because I thought for the longest that beans was his last name and now I know how you met and that's why you call it means and travel beans I didn't know you called it travel beans..... And from United States of America I live in Michigan born and raised.....
