if you have a laredo, you can't switch to RWD, it's mechanically built as a permanent 4wd-high-range drivetrain. Limited, maybe. Srt, definitely can do 2wd
@@BlklimitedX if you have the knob to change 4wd drive modes, you can force rear wheel drive essentially disconnecting the front via the transfer case. but you can damage other components down the line if you do that since all the power goes to the rear instead of split front and rear. give my video a watch to learn about the headache I had to deal with after using this and blowing up my rear diff. ruclips.net/video/LoDiuI8l_B8/видео.html
@BJP LIFESTYLE, keep it up! ... btw at 7:40 to my knowledge, there is no *active* exhaust on V6 (or even non-srt V8) Grand Cherokees. What sport mode is doing is probably just giving you an alternate ECU tuning model for the engine compter and 8-speed transmission shift logic. You will hear more engine sound under acceleration but it's largely the transmission holding on to higher RPMs longer by delaying upshifts on acceleration and downshifts on deceleration. The engine itself does optimize for increased power response, but technically, the maximum horsepower/torque that the engine can produce doesn't increase; the computer just makes more of the power available instead of focusing on saving gas ⛽ correct me if I'm wrong on this **
Is it possible to make ONLY the engine go into sport mode, and have it do that every time you start the car? Reason I ask, this might be a feasible option for those looking to disable MDS in 5.7L V8 equipped jeeps.
I have an 18 JGC Altitude. Will the light show feature work? I know it comes with standard bulbs. I heard it only works on the Laredo 4x4/ & SRT OR HIGHER VERSIONS
@@BJPLIFESTYLE what are the live functions. I'm mainly buying it for the pin code option and seatbelt chime over ride. And does the remote start still work with a pin set. But I dont want to leave it plugged in
if you don't have the rotary switch to change 4WD mode (limited and higher) then you have quadratrac 1 which is mechanically made to be 4wd - and you mechanically cannot override that because there's no components on QT1 for variable 4wd modes. SRT, you definitely can, limited etc... maybe 🤷♂️

Let us answer this simply - yes, yes it is
I’d want this strictly for the performance pages and that forced RWD for some fun 😂😂 dope video bro 🙌🏽🔥
So many good options lol Appreciate the love as always bro!

@@josiaevans I don’t have a Laredo, but thanks for the info.

@@iambigsteveo are you sayin you damaged the elsd motor by using tazer to force rwd?
Tazer looks awesome you should show the light show features at night 😉
In my next Jeep video update I’ll have to go through them!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE you da man, been here since video #1

correct me if I'm wrong on this **
You're probably right on that! I haven't looked too much into it but what you said definitely makes sense lol
You are correct Josia.

I believe you can force the engine mode as well as the transmission!
Was just looking at these you read my mind good upload🔥💪🏽 I was looking around how to do a burnout lol
There’s so many features lol definitely worth it!
If the line lock does work dont test it on a 4x4 unless you can switch it to 2wd. Trying to do a burnout on a 4x4 will break things 100%
My next video: Blowing the diff in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee! lol
Hey man I have the 2017 GC trail hawk would I break anything if I switched it over to the 2wd setting?
Does it have to remain plugged into the OBD2 port or can it be removed once the settings are set the way u want them
Hey I have a 17 Grand Cherokee Limited and looking to chrome delete. Do you have a video of your chrome delete and where you got all your parts from?
I have an altitude so everything came blacked out! I have a few different videos on wrapping though, as well as the front grill inserts!
Did it void the warranty ?
Nope! You can just unmarry it and everything is back to factory
I have an 18 JGC Altitude. Will the light show feature work? I know it comes with standard bulbs. I heard it only works on the Laredo 4x4/ & SRT OR HIGHER VERSIONS
Mine is a 2018 Altitude and it worked!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE thanks. I heard only models with factory LED could use it
I have a 2014 overland with the 5.7L and light shows work
Do you have to leave the TAZER permanently installed in the obd port?
Only to use the live features!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE what are the live functions. I'm mainly buying it for the pin code option and seatbelt chime over ride. And does the remote start still work with a pin set. But I dont want to leave it plugged in
Does this let you adjust tire size ?
Yeah!
What else do you need to run it ? Other than the tazer?
Can I make the DVD player continue to play video on the front screen, while the car in motion ?
Does it give you launch control in the 5.7?
I don't believe you can add launch to anything that didn't come with it
Can you flash to run L.E.Ds without bus error?
I don't believe so! I think you need something like alphaOBD.
Does it cut off engine limiter for higher speed?
Does it ?
i also have a grand cherokee 2017 with a TAZER. I am wondering if forcing the 2wd can break anything. the transfercase?

Have you figured out how to use it while driving?
Same way as normal! If you mean to enable the light shows while in motion, you just have to connect it to a computer and use their software!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE gotcha. Thanks
Whats the current link to get the taser?
Does the tazer void vehicle warranty? 🤔
Does this work on 2021 Jeep Compass trailhawk?
I’m not 100% sure about the compass, shoot them a message on their website to confirm!
@@BJPLIFESTYLE awesome will do thanks
Has this caused you any codes or issues with your car?
Nope!!
Can it enable the video to play while the car in motion?
