Thanks for the clear and well done video. Personally I am struggling with some "rows" on the sculpt (I stretched the material too much) that are difficult to select and remove. Is there a way to "cancel" a part of the sculpt or to eliminate these small rows?
Hi. i have a few 3d printer and really want to get into designing my own models. I've been debating over what program to use to begin with as a complete novice. i have blender but find it a bit overwhelming as of now. sculptris seems like a good starting point ( I want to begin with something free). I'm curious about just how far sculptris can take you in terms of detail. I've been looking for miniatures or models designed specifically in sculptris to get an idea of how detailed a model can be made in it but haven't been able to find much. would you say this program is a good starting point for sculpting or, is there a better option? thanks for taking the time to put out this video.
my recommendation for beginners would be Sculptris or Sculpt GL (web based). They are very similar and easy to pick up, and export your creations for print. i plan to cover Sculpt GL in the near future.
I might be a little early but is there a way to redo an undo? I want to assign that function on my huion but not sure the command. Also can you add time stamps; I believe I’ll refer back to this video a lot.. Ps. You should have more likes on this video, thank you.
This has been highly useful, thank you! It is a great introduction to Sculptris.
that's awesome, I'm happy for everyone who unearth and explore this amazing lil app.
Really solid tutorial, exactly what I was looking for! Thank you 😁
Glad to hear it!

brush over the area a few times with the reduce brush to lower the polys in that area
A useful program,Sculptris.Even though i use Blender, I find Sculptris more intuitive.
Agreed, everything you need right in front of you
