About I’m on Vacation™:
I'm on Vacation™ is about freedom. Freedom from responsibility. It's an "out of office" auto reply on your work email. It's a beer on a Tuesday at lunch just because the weather is nice. It's a laissez-faire mindset. Throw caution to the wind, because anything can happen when you’re on vacation, and nothing else exists but the present moment.
Bradley and Margaret McCoy have made their home in New Orleans and are living this "I'm on Vacation" mentality. From dancing in the streets in full costume during Mardi Gras to buying a vintage houseboat to travel down the Mississippi River, there’s no telling where they will end up next.
What a great idea!!! Doing this is now on my bucket list!! Thank you and God Bless!
Glad we're able to inspire you. It changed our lives and I'm certain you won't be disappointed.
Hello, just getting started watching.

Great real-life reporting. The cracked valve appears to be a classic freeze/expansion event. Worth noting in the ships log. Love to see more reports.......bear
Thank you! Don't worry, there's plenty more throughout the series.
I'm excited for you kids. Kinda wishin I was 30 years younger. I'd be huck Finn so groovy!
Thank you! We're doing the best Huck Finn version we know.
Yes you are right
Bradley I have to say in respect to you I think you are just what a husband is supposed to be right now jack of all trades master of none just like me but I know y'all have what it takes to make it for sure.
Thanks!
What you removed around the water inlet is Butyl tape. Its a sealant that never fully cures and is why its a great sealant on a house boat (lot of flexing and movement). Not sure what flexseal is made of but if it is a silicone based product remove it and replace with either butyl tape or a polyurethane sealant like 3M 4200. Silicone will not seal for a long time on gelcoat and you will have future leaks and then wood rot. It also leaches into the gelcoat and prevents future sealants from working (even silicone). Best to never use silicone sealants on a boat.
This is great information. Thank you for sharing. We definitely have a lot of sealing to do, so I'll be sure to use the products you mention. Thanks!
Nice videos. I'm binge watching them all. Thanks.
Thank you. That's Awesome you're watching them all. Please be sure to subscribe.
If u heat up pipe with torch it move put put pic of carpet down and pic of metal flashing on top of pic of carpet
I'm interested in this idea, but not sure I understand what you're suggesting.
Splurge and get youself a nice high pressure Stainless Water Valve and never worry about it again... :)
That sounds like a great idea. I'll have to look in to that.
Mine doesn’t have a valve there. Not a bad idea though if there is a leak. Faster than running outside to shut it off.
It was a pain to get to, but did have some advantages as you mentioned.
Are there any more episodes coming??
Yes! Lots more to come! Gues we’ve been on Vacation to long 😉. Getting organized and expect to have some out soon. Thank for nudge and following along.

It's October 2021 now?
Yes....soon... dont want to give any spoilers, but have had a few life changes causing the delay.
@@ImonVacation I'm searching for a boat now, in La Crosse. I have lived on a boat a number of times since I was 17, counting the USS Chicago, LOL. I am 75 now and I know a little bit about life changes. ;o) One hint, you can never stop the journey or the other end of life catches up.
@@BirdWhisperer46 not sure if you've checked back with us or subscribed, but we have a lot more videos for you to check out!

I’d like to watch your adventures, but the music is annoying.
LOL! Then this series isn't for you. Thanks for the effort though.
It's just music lol. 🎶
😊 I suspect that the reply came from the first mate! It was a legitimate critique and she overreacts and suggests you leave the channel.
