I had a great time with this one, definitely something very different to my usual style, but I think blending two different art forms in one, made for a very unique looking Spider-Man, don’t you agree?

Purple is very regal of a color. I think if you keep this up you should just organize your markers by colors instead of brand lol 🤣

Love this piece. The shades of purple give it an almost alien feel, like Spider-Man is on another planet. Next colour I’d like to see is green - so much variation there.

WOW. This blew my mind. Especially the remebrance of the first one. You honestly Sir, do not give yourself near the credit you deserve. With your additions the characters literally pop off the page in 3-D. I honestly feel you are one of the best artists on RUclips with these style of characters...if not thee best. I may not be able to draw them but I've been a comic fan for nearing 40 years...so yes the praise is accurate.

I really love what your 'safty-net' contributed to the artwork!! Couldn't imagine it without these random lines, dots etc. In general I think this is my favourite art work from this series.

Love the finished piece! The depth of colour that purple brings is amazing. The bleeding did look like a bit of an issue, but the blur mixed with ADC's dotting technique worked so well.

This turned out amazing. It still looks like Spider-Man colors but as though the light was purpley.
Wow this is brilliant 🤩 the red purples really look red against the background. Btw lilacs, lavenders, violets, mauves, they’re all shades of purple, so no cheating occurred ! Lol! Can’t wait for the next one 😃

With the pinks, I wonder if you should have swatched them. As you know, especially with the Ohuhu markers, the color on the cap doesn't always truly represent the color of the marker. Violet and lavender definitely fit within this category.
This turned out great. It was an excellent choice to use the redder purples on the suit. Can't wait to see what you tackle next.

Blue's and purple's are too easy to turn into night themes and shadows.
This is what my son is voting for.
The purple colours are visually pleasing to me, the colours just work so well for spiderman since his costume are the colours that make purple. The way you handled it is absolutely spot on!
Honestly, I think videos like these would be just as fun to watch if it was an image in 1 kind of color without using every marker of that color. Side note, I'm a bit disappointed that twerking Spidey wasn't chosen.

I love how you think in coloring. I mean you used only shades of purple and it isn't irritating it's alluring to look at. You've definitely grown in this area. Also, how do you think of these backgrounds for art with empty space?!
It's definitely a feeling that begins with an "epic moment" idea.
This one I thought of a scene from an Anime, where a character "blasted" energy into the earth. From there I began laying the background :)

Super cool result! I am always impressed by the backgrounds you are able to create out of nothing. Purple is a tricky one because there is such a range between blue and red, it worked so well that you separated the shades like you did. Spiderman pops so much you wouldn't immediately know it was a one color challenge!
Definitely was tricky, knowing how and when to use the colour variants was confusing! But holding those reddish ones was the best move I made! No doubt:)

I wasn't sure how this would come out, but like with the other two videos in this series, I was blown away by the final pieces. This turned out fantastic--and honestly they are all pretty stunning, especially when compared to the starting point. As someone who similarly struggles with a degree of color blindness, it was inspiring & motivating to see you face that obstacle and completely overcome it. A lesson I feel like you consistently share with your viewers is that sometimes we can be our own biggest obstacles in our creative processes, and sometimes we just need to let go--and we might just be pleasantly surprised by the results. One day it'll sink it! 😉 But thanks for continuing to share, inspire, and motivate! 😁🎨

My safety net: I usually color first, then do the inking and linework, because I can use that to hide a multitude of mistakes. I am not sure if that is a GOOD habit to get into, but I couldn't even count the number of times it has helped me out. I am currently learning to do things the... "normal" way as well. This Spidey picture came out amazing! The foreground dust effect is just such a great touch.

Violet is just another way to say purple to logically yes
The most difficult challenge would be green, I can't even imagine how would work in a drawing
The one with him and batman is cannon. Marvel did a cross over with DC ( according to Google, in April and May of 1996 ) Spiderman even tried to join the justice league. Batman stopped it. :)
You know you need to do a video coloring Spider-Butt at some point now.

OMG! This was such a massive improvement from the previous two (which were also great). I dunno if you read my comment in the last one colour video (Id like to think you did) but the changes you made with picking more vibrant colours for the main character, the contrast with the background, a more values based approach rather than woirrying about the hues of the colours too much was exactly what I was talking about.
And what was absolutely fascinating to me was that those deep black shadows were probably supposed to be from a completely different angle of light source but you picked a different source of light and made them work really well regardless. I get quite intimidated when trying to attempt anything even close to it even at a much simpler scale. I really really love this piece and it genuinely looks awesome. Like it is so good that it doesnt even look like it was a part of a challenge. Keep it up.
I love seeing youtubers evolve which gives me inspiration to evolve in my not so great art journey as well. I am always amazed by everything you add to a bland colouring page to make it a complete scene. Something I have not so successfully started applying in my hobby colouirng stuff as well. Ill get to creating something palatable eventually, hehe. Your videos are so inspirational. They got me into working with superhero related art which I never did before despite the fact I absolutely love watching the movies.
PS - green would be awesome to create Vecna i think other than the standard the Hulk.
Hey, thank you for the comment! I hope I did see your previous comment... but yes, the lighting here was certainly implied to be different and that's something I enjoy, taking an established or directional approach and flipping it.
I struggled today with the paper in a big way, hence the lack of detailing this time. But I think it worked in a cool kind of way :) lovely to see how things can just take shape.

That coloring book is designed to be added to. Nothing else would explain why it has only a character on every page with a lot of empty space. Okay the other explanation is the designer of that coloring book was not only lazy but cheap to & tried to use as little ink as possible to make it.
