Again, great video! Would this work with beer from a Grainfather conical fermenter with pressure transfer kit connected to the Cannular or even with only gravity (fermenter placed higher)?
You mention issues with the duofiller compared to this. Is that still the case with the gen3 duofiller? Am looking something for consistent bottle filling.
Thanks for the nice review! Do you think there is an increased exposure to oxygen compared to counter pressure fillers like the iTap or its knock-offs? Best Regards!
No, like all of these its about setting them up so that the pour smoothly without splashing. Check this out:- ruclips.net/p/PLeY07JqsrXM-6RhWgaxeTLamDiY7W0kMf&si=ytk2QCQLE1Qi4he_

Which version of the duofiller do you have? I have the second generation and it works great. Easy to calibrate and use, with fantastic results filling cans. The only feature this one has is which the duofiller doesn’t is the external pinch valve. Would be great to easily remove and clean the liquid hose.
I did have the first generation. Im glad you are happy with yours. However this goes much further of course with its screen, online profiles and updates and so on.
@@DavidHeathHomebrewfair enough. But the profiles/screen/regulator are not necessary for me in my experience. It’s super easy to set a new sensor mode level with a new keg, which seems to be a good idea any way. I don’t think I’m missing much as I don’t use the rapt portal anyhow. Good overview of the kegland filler regardless!
@@FermentationAdventures Clearly we all have our wishes and needs, I can only really report on things as I experience and see them. I believe its good that there is now this further option though, as the Duofiller is certainly quite an expensive product. This is of course understandable as they are literally hand made, however I believe that this new unit will suit most people due to its enhanced feature set and more budget friendly price.
@@FermentationAdventures I had the second generation unit. It was not easy to set up in my experience and after varies attemps to make it work properly I handed it back for a refund. The second generation just offered a faster filling speed, which does not address the core issues.
@@alanman5328 interesting to hear. Myself and another member of my homebrewing club are having a great time using it. A third club member is having issues with the gen 1. Easily the best can filler I've tried, compared to the blichmann beer gun and tapcooler nanocanner. What are the core issues you had?
There isnt much to actually see though. Its hard to see anything when filling into bottles or cans. The best I did was filling into a glass but it just showed the obvious.
Informative video but I agree that I’d like to have seen a can being filled and seamed in real time. That would have given us an idea of the ease of operation of the unit. Perhaps in a future video? Cheers!

I'll probably wait for a more detailed review before buying it as I dont have any CO2 stuff for now but it looks great and makes me want to step into CO2 carbonatation...
I must confess that I bought the Duofiller but ended up handing it back as it really was a disappointment to me, especially with its heavy pricetag. This looks like just what I was hoping for features wise as long as the exported price isnt too high! I really appreciated the video, it gave me all I needed to know in a fast way as usual.
Thanks for the video David, now I want to buy one :) Do you know how to get one in Europe? Brouwland does not have and it does not seems that Kegland is delivering to Europe no?
Very nice video!! I managed to get this in EU a few weeks back and I am amazed at how good it is. It surely is great for filling bottles from the Fermzilla and my keggerator too. The only problem I noticed was the silicone and plastic tubes. If they get damaged, it's very hard to find alternatives (my gas tube was ripped during transportation). The gas tube is very hard to fit to the steel tube, and if you have a problem inside the machine and need to replace it, it's almost impossible due to the chosen connections. I would love to see a more serviceable design with some barbs on the steel tube and easier connections on the inside regulator. Overall, though, it's a fantastic product and has made my bottling process much smoother! The calibration was smooth also!
@@NevenRadanovic Since there is no store that brings Kegland merch where i live (Greece)I contacted the Aliexpress Kegland store, and they told me it will be several months before they start production. So, I bought it from Australia using a relay service. It was cheaper than i thought !
Needs a bit of tuning during my first run with it but works like a charm. Love mine! So easy and simple to clean. Planning to add my own modifications to lessen oxygen pickup down the line.
Just got mine here in the US, can't wait to try...
Enjoy 🍻🍻🍻
I like this idea! The price is way better than the competition
Yes, these are very popular for sure 🍻🍻🍻
Any update on the UK release of this product, as I can't seem to find it anywhere over here
Sadly it is delayed across Europe at present but should not be so long now thankfully.
Any chance there a filling video on the way?
Nothing planned at this point. It is very straight forward.

As long as you can connect the flow then yes. I would have the conical up high and use gravity.

I cannot speak for the gen 3 as ive not used one but I can say that its much more expensive, has less features and no screen.
@@DavidHeathHomebrew what about availability for keglands filler in europe?

Kan du si når den kommer til Norge?
I'd like to see this in action filling a 0.33l bottle, with carbonated beer. Is that even possible? No counter pressure
Yes it is. Kegland have a video showing this:- ruclips.net/video/BRXKJOAh2os/видео.htmlsi=9nAnLAKhYzztT3we
Does anyone have experience in filling karbonated bottles? Does the bottled beer loose a lot of Co2?
Sure, you will experience some co2 losses. These can be minimized if the beer is at as low a temperature as possible though.
@@DavidHeathHomebrew Do you Think three is more loss, than using a counter pressure bottle filler?
Its all about minimizing losses with temperature with all devices. Its hard to say if this is better or worse really. Ive been happy with the results.
