    Pro tip, shmup fans: Play the Japanese version exclusively. The US version has some really egregious "screw the player" mechanics in it on top of what else it mixes up. Namely a really nasty bomb frequently showing up onscreen with both a quick spreadshot and a VERY aggressive homing bullet that's nigh-impossible to dodge.
    I say this as someone who had to savestate through the US version to grind out the score achievements in Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection.

    아무리 봐도 첫 스테이지 음악은 예술임~~ 1980 후반의 감성이자 앞서나간 음악... 매일 한번씩 듣고 있는데...
    저 음악 (First Attack)이 벌써 40년이 넘었네요.

    So very weird how you managed to defeat the Black Inpulse, and yet the epilogue is a Blind Idiot Translation! Anyways, nice vid.

    This is not arcade but mame. You can tell from the jagged graphics.

    • @infinitesimotel
      @infinitesimotel 6 месяцев назад

      mame is arcade rom code, it loos jagged because of the resolution.

    • @fungames24
      @fungames24 6 месяцев назад

      @@infinitesimotel I remember it wasn't jagged on CRT. Now it's very jagged on LCD display. I suspect it has something to do with mame.

    • @infinitesimotel
      @infinitesimotel 6 месяцев назад

      @@fungames24 THE LCD is probably crisper and more defined, I remember playing this on the arcade and it was "blocky" but because of the CRT haze it looked smooth. I do remember the pixel definition but it looks better on tubes because it doesn't stand out that much given the resolution was also smaller on older screens.

    • @gurriato
      @gurriato 2 месяца назад

      @@fungames24 It has nothing to do with mame, it's all about which display you use. If you watched this youtube video on a CRT it would look better, and if you played the game on mame using an original cabinet screen it would look exactly the same as the PCB. Mame, like many other modern emulators, has built-in filters to simulate the look of old screens (glow, curvature, halation, etc.), so you can recreate the original experience on a modern monitor.

    Oh hey! Isn't there a YuGiOh card inspired by this game?
