We have actually been doing full time vanlife in the UK for the last 3 years, but our engine on our camper van conversion has blown up for the second time in 7 months. So that's how we decided to start the pilgrimage

The Camino de Santiago, also known as the Way of St. James, is a network of pilgrimage routes in Europe, all leading to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain. The most famous route is the Camino Francés, which starts in the French Pyrenees and crosses northern Spain.

I wouldn't walk doing that without hiking boots which would have reduced the risk of getting blisters and bitten by spiders.

My brother in law, did the long Camino 5 years on the trot, in memory of my sister, his wife. On the 5th walk at the very end, he collapsed and died at the hostel, from a hidden heart complaint. Previously he had been extremely fit and had just celebrated his 60th in Ireland.The stories he told and he loved doing the Camino so much. Thanks for a brilliant video.

Just beautiful how it has bonded you even closer together. Janine's Camino was every bit as meaningfully testing and informative as if she had been able to walk the whole route. I got into an apathetic rut after my wife passed away two years ago but watching your top quality videos, especially the ones from India and these from The Pilgrimage has been one of the things to get me motivated again. A bit late for you now. But carry clove oil with you for open wound infections. I had an ingrowing toenail, so painful that I could not sleep. Put clove oil on it and in the morning the infection was gone. Also to prevent blisters put a pair of stockings (nylons) under your socks and that stops the rubbing friction.

I honestly don't understand why I thought only your India travels would interest me. I have been avidly on the edge of my seat watching every minute of this journey with you. The end made me teary eyed because that love song just epitomizes the absolute, pure love you have for each other along with patience, compassion and true kindness.
