@@SoFloCo-ne4rk kind of an interesting question. This is subjective, but I'd say there is far more bad smells than good in this world. That's why there are so many obscure ingredients in perfumes, most things that are generally accepted as 'good' are not widely found in abundance. Also, all organic matter tends to decay/decompose eventually, which usually produces putrid odors. Things tend to gravitate towards stinking over smelling good.
I didn't realize how much my sense of smell plays a role in tasting food until I lost it one time when I was sick. It sucked, everything seemed so bland all of a sudden. I've heard people who have gotten covid say the same thing.
