- This is the first of a few videos we made out in Colorado. In this one, I started out at Eldorado Springs just south of Boulder. I then hiked about 8 miles on the South Mesa Trail to Boulder. Along the way, I passed at the foot of South Boulder Peak, Bear Peak, Devil's Thumb, and the Flatirons. Then I made my way into downtown Boulder where I met up with Thomas before we continued on to hike one of Colorado's 14er's called Mt. Sherman in the next video.

A joy to see a new upload from you guys! My mom and I love to watch your videos and even rewatch the ones we finished. Much love from the Philippines!
I feel like AA is my family I've been watching them so long! Love you guys! ❤
From Google about Buffalo Bill: “Buffalo Bill” Cody died in 1917 and was buried in Lookout Mountain Park, part of the Denver Mountain Parks system.
What a treat! Saw your notification and hit that play button so fast 😂😂 a little obsessed - yes 👍🏼 geeky too. But worth the watch. Getting my popcorn ready and glass of wine. Best way to relax after a hard day of work. Thx guys!
California trails have more snakes, bears, ticks, and mosquitoes than Colorado trails. Both states are beautiful.
You remind me of the kid from the movie Zombieland. Yeah, I always carry more water then I think I will need. When I've hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park. I often take a Gallon of water. Two 40 ounce water bottles and a 48 ounce bladder. No such thing as too much water :)
Got this ready for tomorrow, can’t wait, whoop. (1st)😊
So at the moment i'm camping in my van outside of Canmore, east of Banff, Canada. I don't know.
If you guys have ever been here but i've never seen anything like the canadian rockies and rivers and the lakes and I live in portland oregon i've seen a lot of the northwest but this is a world of its own. Tons the hiking trails, Tons of stunning gorgeousness, You guys should check it out. ❤
This was a great video. Really upbeat. Beautiful scenery, both country and city, fun commentary, and interesting and energetic soundtrack. Thank you! ❤. Hope you are having a great Fall season!
When AA puts out a new video, I always hit the like button immediately, before watching, because I know it's going to be a great video..Loved it guys!!!
I knew you guys were slow because of filming and constant snack breaks but I didn't realize you guys were 1mph slow :D
what a beautiful trail, as for taking for granted trails me and hubby hike and bike the same trails have been doing so for about 30 years I still love it. seeing beautiful plants and animals and blue skies or sometimes there being snow on the ground, once we went hiking in the end of december to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and then went out to dinner. ohio has some very beautiful trails, used to be able to hike better than I can now due to old injury and obesity problems but have you gusy ever hiked the cuyahoga valley near cleveland? one of my favorite park up there is the naturealm in akron. beautiful plants of every kind, I learned about alot fo plants there. i have to ask this how in the world can you guys eat so much sugar and carbs and stay so thin? i am struggling with my diet (ketogenic) lost some weight but not like I had hoped, my body is very stubborn, been struggling with my weight for 40 years despite diets and hiking and used to be a runner, but lost that when I did weight watchers what a disaster that was. colorado is very beautiful place. see why you llike it so much.
Welcome back to our beautiful state, Robbie. Next time, don't bring the smoke. I was hoping you would end your hike at Chautauqua and grab an ice cream at the country store. Maybe next time. Also, I would suggest Dushanbe Tea House for an interesting meal. I loved Thomas's Tajma-tent. I car camp in Colorado, and have an 8-person tent all to myself, with a cot - emergency composting toilet - side table - chair - and lots of room to stand and walk around. Since the weather is so unpredictable here, it's nice to have a comfortable shelter during mountain storms. The musical compositions for this episode were brilliant. At times I felt like I was in a Zelda game. Love your content. Can't wait for tor the next episode.
Where have y'all been? Is RUclips cheating me out of your videos? ❤❤❤
Nice! I live in Lafayette. Eldo Canyon and Chautauqua are both about 15 minutes from my house. Eldo is my favorite and regular run spot in Boulder. I actually went for a run on my lunch break (Amazon driver I get 30 minutes) at that trailhead a few days ago. Guessing this was back in July?
Hey Robbie I could swear I saw a wedding ring on your finger a couple videos ago. Did you get married? Also I have a question for you all. If you saw a Bigfoot while out hiking would you run away scared and leave the area or would you just continue on like you saw a deer😅 Curious minds want to know. I had an experience which terrified me while camping with my son and wife 3 yrs ago. I will never forget it. A little after 3:00 a.m. a tree behind my tent and camp got slammed in a limb came down breaking and then 10 minutes later another one right above our camp. Then another one later down past my son's tent. I was so terrified I could not move literally for at least an hour and I finally was able to get back to sleep and the next morning I woke up a little after 9:00 and my son was out at the campfire and I asked him if he heard it the night before and he didn't hear a thing😮. It was so loud it should have woke the whole campground. I've heard other people say that only they heard certain noises, I don't know what that's all about
Looks kind of nice, but woild be more fun with a rc drone. And burrito
..... Don't forget a nearby 🚽 to go along with that big burrito!😂🤣👍🏻👍🏻
pnw has as good/even better trails near where more people live. columbia river gorge for pdx or cascades near seattle. but maybe even more people like to hike so solitude can be harder to find if that's your thing. far more precipitation for much of the year though and that makes things interesting sometimes.
One question 🙋🏻♀️ have you ever heard or see something scary 😟 I wonder
Aloha from Hawaii!
I hiked 10 miles up each Flatiron and it was one hell of a cool hike! Can’t wait to return next year! Nice video man
Yeah, I live up in Cheyenne, and we had smoke again this yet. I wish some one would put the fire out before they leave camp :) It is some nice hiking down there. Same thing holds true up in Yellowstone. I worked there for three summers. And most people just don't take the time. So yeah, even hiking out from the Old Faithful Area. You hit the trail and a mile later, your alone. Kind of spooky :)
Hey Robby, are you using the new camera? Just my opinion but that stabilization makes the corners wobbly/jiggle lol. It doesn't obviously detract from the story line but it's definitely in my eyes noticeable.
No, what sour is good for, is getting rid of muscle cramps. As a long distance bike rider, I learned that early on.
You need Rhodiola, brother. 100% helps with altitude
8:23 kinda looks like a turtlehead or something
8:29 kinda looks like an alien type face looking towards the sky
No the preparation for the end makes sense. Never really thought about it.
Fun fact for you. Colorado, depending on which study you find, ranks #2 as the heathiest state in the U.S.
The Colorado Lottery portions a good percentage of it's intake to the parks and state trails maintenance. A certain number of new trails are built each year and those that are degrading are given a face lift. Lottery money is also used to acquire available land that can be added to the parks across the state. So, before you fly home, buy a bunch of lottery tickets!
Visit Pearl Street in Boulder. Nice spot for local life and entertainment.
If you want privacy on the trails, you have to go higher. Those who are fitness inclined try to climb the "14-ers" in one summer or over several summers if you are actually gainfully employed. Since Colorado has 54 peaks over 14k feet, doing it in one summer is ambitious or insane, depending on your viewpoint.
Im on the sw side of the Denver area and i find I just gotta go up hwy 285 to about 8k feet and I'll pretty much be alone on trails (outside of the weekend).
first
nevermind someone else got it smh my head
@@disgustangy4901Its ok you were close! 😊
Amazing place ❤ and the tent is so fire 🔥 ❤
The Rob and Thomas mini episodes are back!
Always down for a solo Robby hiking video
"The things I need to look out for are sun, altitude, and smoke." And grizzly bears. Don't forget about those.
There aren't grizzly bears in Colorado.
I now understand why you called it a Mega tent 🤣
You must return to Maine and try coastal trails. 🥾
Can we stop by Mcdonald's 🍔 🍟 🍦 😋
