What are your thoughts on this work light? Do you see room for Milwaukee to improve on this light? Comment below ⬇️ Thanks for watching 😀

I personally think this is a very good light. It still could be a lot better though.
    Improvements:
    1) The legs are a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the light. A metal rib in them would be much nicer
    2) The deployment collar is annoying. I wish it were a lever, similar to how the EGO lawn mower handle fold-down lever is
    3) Customizable brightness levels. The One Key function allows you to choose any brightness level. But you cannot reprogram high, medium, and low.
    3) Smartphone/USB charging capability inside the watertight compartment
    4) Built-in Milwaukee Top-off
    5) Flashlight holder, with charging dock. That way, you can have a tiny light docked into the large light for those awkward situations where you need a quick light
    6) A tad larger and taller
    7) More brightness
    8) A spot beam mode
    9) Rubber over-molded handles
    10) More rotation locking options for the mast. Maybe a toothed gear system that let's you lock the arm at just about any angle
    11) Remove some slop in the moving parts. The mast is very, very sloppy in its fit. I understand that is by design, but I think it is just a bit too much. Instead, beef up the joints with more metal
    12) Retractable carry strap. Currently, it comes with a shoulder strap, but it just swings around everywhere and gets caught when it's not on your shoulder. Some way to tuck up the strap when not in use would be great
I know many of these improvements would make the light heavier, but I personally think that isn't too big a concern. Currently, the light is quite balanced and very compact. So, a bit more weight wouldn't really make too much of a difference. Also, I know this was designed to fit in the side utility cubby on a truck, but I think a version 2 should just be a completely different light for different users. Also, also, this light is $700. For what you get, I don't think it's worth it as their other products are nearly half as expensive but brighter. For this price, I would have liked to see a few more bells and whistles. The dual battery system is awesome and I sometimes run it on one battery and put a few tools in where the second battery should go.

Thanks. It’s one of my favorite standing work lights. Can’t beat the dual battery.

I love the waterproof part. I live in Florida where it rains a lot . I could leave it outside by accident or on purpose and not ruin it or the batteries

I notice how even with the 12.0 there is still about a 1/2” of clearance. Looks like another row of cells will fit. Can you say 15.0 ah battery that Milwaukee has been planning for awhile?

At 700 bucks this is WAY overpriced. Not a good value at all. Even the charging Rocket tower at $400 is a better value, and it was on sale for 269 a few months ago. The only benefit I can see is that it’s better at downwards illumination. But at what cost, heh.
