played a ton of Wargame: Airland Battle and Red Dragon, indeed a sublime experience, hope this remake sticks 💜
I prefer my rts games to have base building and resource harvesting elements. I would love a modern military style game.

watched your videos and love the old wargames...This looks and feels so much better and way more advance things to do going to take a while to learn. Must say seems to be also hard on the hardware as my rtx 2060 laptop seems to struggle on my 3440x1440
time to go back down 1080p lol.
lol i'm using a 1050 , didn't use the highest settings but i managed to run it well , check the post processing

This game is in a class by itself. Graphics and sound are both phenomenal. Very immersive and probably the closest thing to real war out there.
I'm loving many things about this game , many is in need of further development too
But the best part in this is that Eugen has competition now

To be honest it looks like what i have heard of the Ukraine front in some ways.
Imagine if the had Wagner group contractors for Russia and like black water groups for USA
I was super hyped for the game, but after playing, IMHO, it is waaay to slow and boring. Would be so much better if points accrued faster, units were cheaper or give me all points to start with, and I can only call ut my entire army once. I find most of the time in this game is spent waiting, not playing
I disagree, it’s pretty fast paced now that people are learning the decks. Also I’d hope they’re using this beta test to get feedback exactly like your comment. Points should be larger, and in better placement across maps and the obvious bugs with units need to be fixed but I think it has a lot of potential to beat out games like WGRD and potentially Warno.
Anything like World in Conflict is a hard pass.
Looks like a wargame red dragon copy. meh, Pass.
I played this and it feels literally like red dragon with good graphics, nothing innovating is coming out of it unfortunately. Infantry gameplay is quite awful and there seems to be no cover system besides putting them in buildings. Being able to dig some trenches would be nice, and firefights between infantry could last longer if they were in decent covers, like company of heroes. Also tanks are able to pick out infantry from realistic ranges but also instantly sees them as soon as they are in its range. Stuff like this breaks the immersion a lot. But apart from these issues I think its pretty good.
Sounds like relatively easy fixes though. If you don't want to have to model infantry running around and stuff, just do negative,no,light,and heavy cover in areas. Have most of the decent infantry able to make foxholes for heavy cover and trenches much slower for a garrison.
Modifying tank sights seems simple too.
Seems the artillery is extremely oppressive to me. I guess it should be that way, but every game devolves into either infantry chilling while artillery pounds away, or NATO running over Russia with air when they over-invest to counter missile artillery.
@@CaptainLekirk yeah, I hope these issues get fixed but tbh im not seeing it change much from what it is now
