- So i tried Broken Arrow and so far I'm really impressed. Obviously the game is not done yet and needs some more work before the release but i really like this "Normal" approach when it comes to Military Strategy Games. It's deep but not too deep. It feels like it's easy to learn but hard to master.

This reminds me of the 2007 game World in Conflict, which had an awesome campaign where the US is invaded by the USSR.
I wish there was at least an HD remake of World in Conflict. That game was so fun, and the story was amazing!

Stinger are like the shortest range AA in the game you would have wanted like Patriots and radar stuff but theirs also Planes that have radar based missiles that can destroy them
"Looks better than WARNO"
I would say that *most* of Broken Arrow looks better than WARNO, but there are definitely some things in WARNO that look better than Broken Arrow. Some of the blast effects in WARNO, such as shrapnel impacting and generating smoke clouds, for example, are quite impressive.

Small complaint, but i hate how all the RTS campaigns almost always use these "picture slide shows" in their cinematics. Just seems lazy

ive heard its a bunch of guys from the wargame/warno team that couldnt make the game they wanted and thats what Broken Arrow is
lol no. It is small Russian devs from Samara (Steel Balalaika Studio) registrated 02/03/2021 and oh boy the money from this game will partially go towards humanitarian aid for the ZOV fighters

Only the creative director is known to be a previous eugene systems employ who was creative director on wargame red dragon, SD44, SD2 and Act of Aggression.
Steel Balalaika used to be a wargame red dragon esports team before they started work on broken arrow.

I absolutely adore the super Americanized pronunciation of everything from the American giving the briefing. You can hear it all your life and it's still funny just how little they care, because they're right, butchering every language including your own has surprisingly little negative impact.

It sounds so robotic. It sounds sh*t. Can these nerds stop being cheapskates and start hiring skilled voice actors? Saving a few hundred dollars is not worth making your game sound cheap.
Hear me out, maybe you should enjoy a good game and not be so picky or get mad over every little thing you see.
That type of mentality will get you games like cyberpunk 2077, it tried to do everything but by doing so they failed at everything, even now it needs work.
With that type of mentality you get games like skull and bones, which is just so poorly made I dont think you can even call it a game, but atleast, it didn't use ai.
Some game companies just don't have alot of money so they have to be clever and use ai voices.

@@Ok_waffle Cyberpunk is actually very good now. Still has some bugs here and there but the game is incredibly solid. If they released it in its current state it would've been much better received.
