Kendrick is a mad man.
Isnt 6:16 Jeremiah from the bible also something about a crossroads and picking the right path but you said we will not walk in it. Maybe referencing drake not walking the right path?
In retrospect, this is so clearly a warning from Kendrick. He starts off wrestling with if he's willing to sacrifice his peace to body Drake. Then warns Drake that he has leaks in his camp and he should take a step back and reevaluate his life and situation. And then in Kendrick's next two drops, he shows he clearly was prepared for whatever Drake put out. I truly believe if Drake had listened to this warning and not put out "Family Ties", we would have never heard "Meet the Grahams" or "Not Like Us".

Darae hit the nail on the head. Euphoria was for the fans; this is for Drake. That’s why Dot posted it on IG - Drake basically lives there. This is an Al Green sample, last one was Teddy P, Teddy P and Al G have an album called “Back to Back Hits” 6/16 is Pac’s bday, Father’s Day, premiere date of Euphoria TV show, date OJ Simpson charges were filed, date of Nicole Brown Simpson’s funeral, and multiple bible verses that could apply (eg Luke 6:16, Proverbs 6:16)
6/16/11 - date of Kendrick’s show in Toronto Also, i saw someone say in another comment AI music was set to be banned/restricted on 6-16👀👀dont quote me
I reckon the put money in the streets line is a triple; 1. Trying to buy dirt on Kenny 2. Buying protection in the streets 3. Drake had claimed he gives money back "to the streets", Kendrick is saying ain't no receipts
Drake feels like the sacrificial lamb for the resurrection of hip-hop and after Kendrick says “every dog gotta have his day, now live in your purpose.” It feels like that more 😅
Teddy Pendergrass had the sample on euphoria, Al Green had the sample on this track. They both had a collab greatest hits album titled back to back. Now remember on euphoria when Kendrick said “Back to back, I like that record. Ima get back to that for the record” 🤯🤯🤯
First part seems like Kendrick doing his impression of the typical drake time stamp record. Talking about him overseas, drinking wine, buying boats etc before he gets into it. Crazy song I love it
Something tells me Kendrick picking up where Push left off because J Prince got involved and Ye told Push don’t go no further. Kendrick don’t have NONE of that and in LA, J Prince don’t hold sway so Kendrick is free to let loose! Push probably handed him over some intel as well and Kendrick got it from here. This is some sh*t!!!
I feel like the first part is Kendrick saying: “I also have money, i also live how i want and buy what i want. But i still have my morale and culture and peace while you traded all that for fame and money.”
Also with the Mike bar it goes deeper cause of the chorus of Man In The Mirror "I'M STARTING WITH THE MAN IN THE MIRROR, I'M ASKING HIM TO CHANGE HIS WAYS"
The sound at the beginning is the noise a Cryolipolysis Slimming V12 machine makes.. "Then tell em' where you get your abs from.. V12 it's a fast one" 🔥🔥🔥 Kendrick is slow cooking this dude in front of us all
The "put money in the streets" line is a call out to Drake trying to buy dirt on Kendrick. That's why in the follow up he says he's sorry that he's boring because there are no "receipts" to give (i.e. no damaging info Drake can use in his rhymes).
I just want everyone to acknowledge that Dot said in both Euphoria and 6:16 that Drake has tried to get dirt on him and has come up unsuccessful. Which means there is but so much Drake can say. There is no red button. Very beginning of the song, Kendrick says "somebody's lying. Smell somebody lying. I don't see no fire"
When you live a solid life, live in your truths and treat people with respect... You tend to have less enemies and dirt on your name. Hence why he can't find anything on either.

It's so charming the way you guys look over at each other whenever you hear an especially good bar, like you're excited to see each other's reactions too.
The psychological aspect to this diss is insane!! Mind you we still don't know how Push Ups leaked the first time. If Kendrick is saying he is inside the OVO camp, who's to say he hasn't already heard whatever Drake been cooking?? This is gonna make that man overthink everything. I also understand why he named his first diss Euphoria. I think Kendrick has a show prepared for us. Episodes that will play out dissecting this man. Because he sounds like he's got serious information here.
I feel like Drake has been preparing his record since or even before he dropped that Taylor made. It didn't hit me until you mentioned that this track feels like the first part of Euphoria that Euphoria may be serving as an 'Overture'. The piece at the beginning of an Opera that serves as or sets the tone for the rest of it. I wouldn't be surprised if Kendrick's next two releases have similar vibes to each of the beat switches in Euphoria.

Rewatching the reactions with a bit of time and space, and this one really sticks out to me now. If nothing else, the streaming and number one spote is telling Kendrick that yes, people are ready, message received, we're just waiting for the evidence to drop now. Chilling.

This one was educational. He’s helping Drake see himself clearly. It’s altruistic in a way
