@@MichaeldeMiranda " Mongo will always be a great inspiration.".. tell me about it.. I'm an Englishman who hooked up with aTrinidadian friend in 1973, who turned me on to congos and the great Mongo.. I have 4 congas, bongos and other stuff.. I'm sure the voodoo spirits were in the studio when they recorded the Mazacote a track I've relished "jamming" to for 50 years now ;-))))))
Hi. Thank you for a great lesson. Could You explain to me why do You make wishes at the end of november? Is it because of intensive preparations for carnaval? All best!
You're welcome! Do I make wishes at the end of November? I don't know. This is a video that I posted a long time ago on my Patreon channel. Sometimes I share a video from my Patreon channel here on RUclips, but it has nothing to do with the carnaval. I wish you good luck with it!

Great video by the way.
Wow, thanks. I knew the rhythm but not all the cool variations. Have a wonderful holiday season.
Thank you, John! I wish you and your family a happy holiday season too!
Love the sound of the congas , are they Mamey congas?

I maybe wrong, but is that an abacua rhythm?
Well, for me it is a mixture of Bembé, Rumba Columbia and Abacua... He created his own rhythms out of those many styles.
