Great advice, Caitz! My mum's friend's daughter changed her mind about her 5 choices of Midwifery and used UCAS Extra to secure a law and politics place at the University of Essex a couple of years ago.
Thanks so much for watching! And wow that’s quite a change aha but sounds great - really hope she’s enjoying her course!! It can be so hard sometimes to know what degree you want to do while still in sixth form so I think it’s great UCAS has something in place that allows people to change their minds xx
Hey girl! I just wanted to ask that how many applications can we apply for ucas extra? Btw, your video is really good! Keep up the good work. Highly appreciated. ❤❤❤
Hi, sorry for the late reply! Thank you so much for your lovely comment💛 I believe you can only make one application to ucas extra in any given year - hope that helps!
I have a question so how do I add an extra option through track instead of me declining my four offers and applying to other universities through ucas extra?
Do you have to decline all of your offers to do UCAS extra? I've received offers but I want to do a course that I haven't originally put down but I don't want to decline my current offers just in case my UCAS extra is unsuccessful.
Im in the same boat, did you find out the answer? I’ve received 3 offers, still waiting to hear back from my other 2 unis. I don’t want to decline all of my offers though as this is a big risk.
I am going to apply through Ucas Extra, and i have two conditional offers from Edinburgh and Warwick .Now I am planning to call Ucas on the next day to decline them T.T what i have considered for very long time. Then apply for univeristy of Manchester as they are better in Chemistry. I am very worried that this is so risky and whether worth to do it. Any suggestions?Thank you.
I applied for 5 choices before the deadline, I got 2 offers but the rest where unsuccessful by default because the university didn’t get in touch before the allotted time so ucas automatically made it unsuccessful Can I still use Extra after this?

Is it better to just wait until clearing instead?
Hi, thanks so much for watching! Possibly, but I’d say it depends on what you’re applying for. What course and universities are you looking at?
What grades did u get?
I applied for 5 choices before the deadline, I got 2 offers but the rest where unsuccessful by default because the university didn’t get in touch before the allotted time so ucas automatically made it unsuccessful
Can I still use Extra after this?
You should work for ucas
Aw haha thank you
