The Dallas Mavericks defeat the Boston Celtics, 101-90. Olivier-Maxence Prosper (22 points, 4 assists) and A.J. Lawson (21 points, 4 rebounds) combine for 43 points for the Mavericks in the victory, while Jaelen House tallied 18 points and 9 assists for the Celtics in the losing effort. The Mavericks 1-3 in NBA 2k25 Summer League, while the Celtics fall to 2-2

Mavs got a sorely needed win in summer league. Omax looking good!
Amazing how many knee jerk Mav fans are willing to write him off already. Went through the same thing with Josh Green. Props to Miller and Gortman. They showed a lot of the things you want to see from role players. Miller gets it. Not flashy but generally efficient and his contributions are evident down through the line of his box stats.

All of OMax shot will not be his shot when he will play during regular season games with the team.. He will not be creating his jump shots.. He will just wait in the corner patiently and be prepared as Luka and Kyrie do their things.. On the defensive end is where he will be greatly needed.. His contribution on the team defensive scheme will determine how many minutes he will log in per game..

@@user-mb3if6so4i Rodman was the greatest rebounder of the 80s and 90s. He was 6'8 but studied the ball flight and hustled more than anyone else. The Mavs are a shitty rebounding team and they need someone to come in and get 8 or 9 rebounds (besides Luka). PJ isn't going to do it and Klay sure as hell isn't going to do it.

His 8th grade & highschool highlights went viral as much as Zion Williamson and Robert Dillingham. He earned Alabama and played well. He’s in great physical shape, facilitates very well, pushes tempo very well. Throw him in the NBA 🔥 and he’s going to give you MVP Derrick Rose vibes. You clearly have no eye for basketball. Had he went to any other team he’d be already getting minutes at the NBA level. Celtics player development has been garbage for 20 years. That man got hall of fame talent in him. What he needs is minutes or to stop playing so nice and turn up the tempo. He still on rookie contract until like next year too. You sound mad dumb. Does he not hold the G league or summer league record for assists from his 1st year?? A few other G league accolades and stats as well.
