You learn nothing new from Gameleap compared to the free content thats already avaliable. Save your money and just watch some youtube guides imo
It’s sad, I literally learn tip’s and how to play just from watching streamers yet people want money to teach people stuff that you can learn easily
there is a reason the owner of the chanel has change he just didnt see how it would be a good business model after a long time trying
That applies for most things nowadays tbh. There are so many free guides & tutorials on yt
Just watch some a10 tutorials
I'm just like play the game and get good like wtf. Plus the best players in overwatch exports. Have pro coaches
Bro was acting like Rein doesn’t have one of the fastest ult charges in the game 😂
factual
I have gotte nshatter in the first like 10 seconds of the game before, all you needed was a damage boosted firestrike on 6 players and a few swings. The suprise instant shatter always wins that first teamfight.
@@BagelBoi4000 6 strikes in 10 seconds lol rein players being lying punks lol
@@Josh-vh9fw One can hit 5 and you get two strikes.
@@Goku138 see yous are lying punks lol buddy u ain't hitting the whole team twice in a row with that slow ass telegraphed move mabey once I every 50 games so makes the point irrelevant
The real scam are the overwatch 2 skin prices
For only 3k subs, your editing is really well done. Instant sub. Quality content too. GG
nccc 69 sub
didn't know being more popular meant being more talented
Years ago when I was stuck in Gold and frustrated I considered paying for GameLeap. Glad I never did, I was able to climb with free guides and VODs instead.
Great video. I had GameLeap for a couple years (WHATS UP EVERYBODYYYYYYYY COACH MILLS HERE COMIN ATCHA WITH A BRRRRRAND NEW OVERWATCH VIDEO) and there are some really decent guides there. Their video titles are very clickbait-y tho so I can see why some might think it’s a scam considering all the free content they (and others put out. If you do take the plunge make sure you have a discount code handy!
u have a future in content creation bud this is fire
💛
Kind of amazed that this quality content only has 3k subs. Your quality is already there. Excited to watch you grow.😊
Reinhardt always beats soldier in ult charge rein has some of the fastest ult charge in the game hes high or something
After seeing some of the tierlists and tips they gave in their youtube channel, I immediately passed, some of the creators on that site are clueless; I don't doubt that some of the coaches may be great, but clearly some are just regular guys that don't have any special understanding of the game. I actually don't think that "being top 500" equals good coach either, you can be great at something but terrible at explaining or translating your knowledge to others. Why even bother paying for something not knowing if it will be good or bad content at all, when you can just browse youtube for free, there's already tons of great educational content here, and if you want someone to review your vods, just hit OverwatchUniversity, a lot of knowledgeable people do vod reviews for free.
High rank doesn't equal good. You can be a top500 mercy onetrick.
@@Torbintime or any one trick for that matter lol
The service is a subjective experience. I've went from 40% win rate in gold to 70% winrate in plat 1. Im a few wins away from diamond. This is only a few days of using the service. I got a whole year to go!
Anyway, just like any service it'll either work for you or it won't. I'm glad @Special wasn't hard biased toward the gameleap company. Respect!
You're for sure gonna blow up bro your vids are very high quality especially for a small channel
At the end of the day, experience and learning from mistakes is what makes you better in any game...Yes guides can definitely help to "guide" you to the right path, but you're the only one that can run on it.
Insane video dawg. Great editing and script. Keep this same work ethic my boy, I see you doing great things.
Bro I just need like a tiny bit of healing to do my job... the pain of dps players.
You're never going to improve without effort. These guides can help a lot, but you have to put in hours to practice, vod review, and potentially do aim training. Also improving your general health and well being is beneficial of course.
That being said, many RUclips guides are very good and you definitely don't need a paid service. If you want more help, pay someone who can teach you to VOD review more efficiently or VOD review games with you and can coach you. I also am doing paid aimcoaching, but that honestly is not money well spent for the absolute majority of players if their goal is to improve in overwatch. There's also great free ressources on aim training from Voltaic for example
It might just be me, but I watch some of their videos, and listen to what they say, but I don't think about it in game. I can't imagine people thinking "oh yeah, I've never played soldier, but the game leap guy said he's a good pharah counter." But that's just me.
I used to have their sub a long time ago when they had dota 2 content... they werent too bad and I learned a lot. And while there is a lot of knowledge involved for both games I feel like dota 2 is insanely deep gameleap was pretty useful and helped my decision making, where as with OW mechanics are almost more important than decision making imo. I watched some of their OW1 content years ago also and it did help me with my doomfist (wen he was dps), but that is a hard hero to learn.
The thing is, there's literally the same if not better content on RUclips for free.
this man deserves soooo many more subs than he has W channel fr
So your Conclusion is that Gameleap is not a scam but did that Coach help you improve at all?
from someone who loosely knows one of the trainers from duoing (it’s my interpretation of his personal opinion) id say the simple worth or not worth is based purely on how much value you believe a vod review from a gm/top 500 is
i bought game leap back in like 2019, watched every genji guide and learned nothing that smaito's guide didnt cover, alot of which sam went into more detail about
Watching a couple videos on how to play a hero "correctly" and expecting to implement the changes in a manner of 2 games or so, as well as being better in the game mechanically almost instantly, is like watching a couple "how to bench press correctly" videos, then proceeding to bench 300 on your second session.
It ain't gonna happen, and it takes time to build up.
You know what I think you got another sub man keep up the great content
Thank you for making just short videos because I can’t stand watching people talk about the same complaint for 20 minutes
Please turn the music & game comms down a little bit more if you're gonna speak over it. And increase the gaps between your commentary cuts, it's very abrupt. I think that would really improve the quality of this vid, especially for an international audience. Other than that, really enjoying the vids, keep up the great work!
A guide will maybe teach you the basics. If you want to be top 500, you'll need thousands of hours of playtime. I don't think there's legit any other way
soldier guide? i could do that lemme just say a few words.
play more , improve aim, aim head , win game
and that is my soldier guide worth $50+
Also a Widowmaker and Ashe guide! You could just title that "Free GM on hitscan guide 2022 (real?!)"
@@antipixel8774 For widow just download a workshop map for aim training and grind that for a set amount (15 min or more) of time daily, you should be able to hit hshots more consistently, you wanna be able to hit hook-shots too, i remember KK49M this one from a t500 making a video 2 years ago or so, its aerial target practice, very useful on widow.
@@Exknight2 do you have the code workshop for widow?
@@ajte4933 It's on my previous comment aka - KK49M this one is for the hookshots, just walk out of spawn and it should teleport you on the spot.
Bro your content is lit, I really wanna know what program you use to edit your videos
Premiere Pro 😊
great video especially the editing
It’s just never worth to by any website like that if u actually want to improve, if u wanna get better at the game get a coach I know some players that are constantly top500 that would do it for free. Or u can vod ur own gameplay
You can improve all you want, if it feels like the rest of your team is using their feet instead of their hands then it'll still hold you back
Cope
@@stillnotchill2560 Not really you millennial child twt
I used to use GL back in ow1 when I wanted to play Baptiste better and it worked for awhile but in the end I thought why waste money on course when you have RUclips?
Gameleap was recommended to me, I watched 2 videos, I stopped when they called support class as healer. I knew whoever is behind the channel doesn't know anything
Tbh i feel like paying for content also makes you more dedicated to actually learning it, nonetheless its always debatable to pay for something that's also out there for free. But I don't see a big issue considering the reasonable price.
If you wanna get top 500, all you gotta do is play open queue. That's how I got top 500
I always considered GameLeap when I was stuck silver. Then I started watching streamers and got to Diamond myself.
homie speed really tryna get mad at you for ult charge 🤣😂🤣😂
If you pay, pay for actual coaching from a person that looks at your gameplay, either live or previously recorded. Compare it to learning a more traditional skill, like drawing. Trying (or practicing) the act itself is step 1. Then you might want a video guide, or maybe book to learn outside of your own knowledge. Applying that knowledge correctly is normally tough on your own, so then a teacher, or coaching comes in. Gl friends
0:39.. hehehe, keep up bro!
tank's that dont realise how much damage they deal literally giver me cancer. I realised this when i made a friend over the past month who only played dva and after one of our games i asked him what he was doing during fights and he was like. "I was protecting the team"
Also they are getting pocketed by a healer at all times so they stay alive a lot longer increasing their damage.
Early on I learned a lot from their general tip videos. I subscribed (for half of what you paid... they do have deep sales sometimes) to support them and have used a lot of their videos since then because they are concise and very good at visuals. I think it's a bit irresponsible to review a business like this without researching some of their messaging. They can't produce content for OW2 any faster than they are but they have being producing a lot steadily. But the important thing is you got your views right? There were also very good for my family's new players because it's organized and I know the content is great to start with. OverWatch is not irrelevant either and there's tons of videos there to glean from.
Not necessarily a scam. They had guides for all characters in OW1 back when I had it for a little bit, a lot of them were general tips that a lot of people knew already, but once you do go into the vods it's a lot better. Though they could have gone even more in depth with it because a lot of the vods were looking at ONLY won fights and not lost fights, how they could've changed it. Gameleap + a multitude of youtube content such as Jayne's videos helped me get my tank from silver to high masters. Is it worth the money? Eh. You could get a lot of the same content on youtube for free if you know where to look.
For those looking for the music, as I was : Mattie Maguire - Racing Hearts. Merry Christmas
did game leap teach you how to get more ult charge
Gameleap helped me get top500 and climb out of plat to 4.4
Support a content creator or streamer that does coaching. It is really a great way to learn.
I watched this before I saw who made it, and honestly thought this would be some top OW RUclipsr. Great work, man, this is amazing!
“I litterly overlapse Lebron in ult charge” -a guy playing a tank whose ult basically was a third ability in ow 1
Bro been growing 🫶🫶🫡
Scam and bad value are two different thing it is definitely a horrible value. RUclips has plenty of content and if you think you can't find anything on RUclips watch Twitch. If you're determined to pay for something to improve some type of coaching would help you more than just more RUclips videos.
Within their titles they often say, "with these tips you will *instantly* get better" and thats what i was testing... Obviously i knew that i wouldn't be able to improve that much however its a marketing strategy they use. And if you are going to Critique the aim metric, i would respetfully like to point you towards their video titled "use this warmup and 2x your aim" or something like that.
i reccomend u check out contenders coaches(spilo, natter etc), and a10 guides or maybe even kajor
ncc video man i almost buy game leap topp but it wont show me the price ty new sub❤
I mean, I don't even know these GameLeap people but you actually need to implement what they said in their vods in order to improve and you didn't exactly show any active implementation of your corrections to us, so that just seems unfair to the guide makers
Use cover like be really close to cover, that's all you need
I find a lot of unranked to gms and guides really depend on the content creator. You can be a god like dafran on a hero but be the worst possible teacher, if you watched some of his vod reviews of plat games he doesn't really teach anything at all besides core fps fundamentals (pretty badly). I found people who disect the game like Samito and A10 to be the best in the business so far and even then some of their guides on certain heroes might not be for everyone as it'll either be too basic or too complicated for some people and overthing is a huge problem for people at low ranks looking through this content.
Why would holding left click on an army of bots be a good metric for your skill in the game?
Don’t they also do coaching? I personally feel like having a coach for games is better than just a few guides and vod reviews.
Bro bases skill off of ult charge XD oh no people aren't always playing at their peak? How weird that humans are flawed!
no lie, the next suggested video that RUclips decided for me was a gameleap video for 7 tips for easy GM. I mean to be honest, if it only takes 7 tips to become GM, i should be number 1 lol
You're probably not doing tip 5 or 6 right my guy.
by playing the game and watching high ranking players play is imo the best way
Idk the misconception typically tank has the most damage now a days I mean unless u got a top 500 sojourn and a mercy pocket then it shouldn’t be close
thx body, i see a bit more how i need to tranning
Rein builds ult stupidly fast, at least in gold where I'm at because it's easy to land fire strikes. He shouldn't lap you in ult charge unless you're holding ult, but bragging about it is like a Moira bragging about out-healing Lucio
I’m a player that climb out of bronze all the way to just plat. The first season of ow2 I was bronze 5 climb out to gold 4 at the end. Then blizzard rank me down again the start of season 2 and I was sliver 4 but i keep going till I hit plat at least. I have grind this game to dust this game isn’t easy but with every match you learn you grow you get just a little better. Take from me just a avarage joe. I have mastered winston and roadhog. But that was over 200 matches played. You have to keep going
He's so brave posting this with how toxic this community is, nonetheless very informative thanks!
Think u need to learn the meaning of BRAVE, this dumb weak generation thinking it's brave to post something 🤣🤣🤣 fukn hell stop bringing society down
Not everybody in the community is Toxic, maybe a very vocal 10%
Thank u, sure some of us can get toxic after a ranked game or two, but not everyone's like that and some of us know how to control our toxicity
They should just offer a carry subscription service. Subscribe for 20$ and they'll carry you with smurfs to masters or whatever
You make very good videos, have a like and comment for your troubles.
1:25 - song name ? Very please :)
Imagine looking at tutorials as at pills or med drugs that insta-cure your issue. This is just stupid. Ofc they are just speculating on human factor of being bad at something, but expecting these things to help when you are looking more into scandalize them - is ridiculous. If you want to learn something, you don't have to pay in most cases, you just need to WANT to learn.
I purchased Skillcapped, a similar website for League of legends and it helped me go from Iron 3 -> gold 3 in one season, so I’d argue that if you apply it right and play long enough it can be useful, you just need dedication (I was consuming probably more than an hours worth of content daily and playing the game more than an hour daily as well)
Why is it even Import which rank you are.
Just play and have fun, thats the core idea of a game
I like eating mash potatoes
😂
Heyyyy me too
A10 releases awesome guides
A10 has some good coaching (:
How to get better at any game: watch someone play the game 😭
1:55 song plz?
Just grind Quake and Doom for 20 years or.....Buy a 900$ aimbot....or play every single day for 7 years 8 hours a day and put in those 10K hours
Is it a scam... no.
Erm yes... yes it is.
A scam is selling somthing to someone with the sole aim of selling worthless item/content for a price.
They literally lie saying they have "more content then anywhere else" this alone makes it a scam.
Another banger
I mean it's pretty obvious but still great to know for sure
Great vid
Coach me for next video?
the whole part about testing before/after going through the guides was a bit dumb imo, progress is not something easily measurable like that.
i feel like a straight up comparison between what their content talks about and what free content on youtube talks about would've been better suited for this
I forgot I payed for gameleap a while ago, they auto-renewed my subscription so I asked for a refund. Weeks later, still no reply. I ended up needing to go through PayPal to get a refund, and only got it after PayPal couldn’t get in contact with them. I’m not saying they’re shady, but definitely not great customer support.
Ult charge defines a player. Never mind that when you use ult it resets.. if its low, ur trash.
Succinct review that gets to the point.
I'm not saying it's a scam I just don't think the subscription is worth learning maybe 2 or 3 tips while most likely there's a free video that goes over the same thing
get urself decent T2 coach or T3 coach, which in most cases u could get for free or with less money than 15$. Ask legit for 1x 1on1 vod that would be like 1h and just record it so u can go over it as many times as u want. Second option find good T3 player who can teach u the hero u wanna play and ask for a few of their vods. Boom u can climb to gm now which is ez af since ow2 ranked system is fucking horrible.
A10 is one the of the best him and emmcee
I was never going to anyway.. so it's fine
The more I play it the more I realize how much of a dumb ez mode game OW2 is. Now I see why it’s free to play
Solid video
is it a scam? no. is it a waste of money? well duh
Damn you paid money to be called trash. Sadge
I’ve used gameleap before and imo, it’s has a lot of good guides and will definitely help you improve. But you can find similar guides on RUclips for free, you just have to look for them. It’s nice to have all of the guides provided neatly in one place, you just have to decide whether that’s worth the price for you.
Play the goddamn game.... stop wasting your time watching videos. Most of them actually give bad advice.
There are only 4 things you need to succeed in overwatch.
1. Self Discipline - know when to push, know when to stand your ground on the choke, know when a fight is lost and retreat
2. Game Sense - know how all the heroes and all of their abilities work (how long the cooldowns are is a big one to focus on), know when enemies have ults and have an answer for when they use it, know what abilities the enemy has used and which they have available to use. With perfect game sense, you can be an opportunist. Wait for the enemy to make a mistake (they will do it eventually), and be ready for when it happens to exploit it to turn the tide in your favour. If you do not punish these mistakes, the enemy will likely win because at least 1 player on their team will punish your teams mistakes.
3. Aim + target priority - Aim cannot be taught, go do aim training in workshop or jus play the game. Target priority is as simple as this: Support > DPS > Tank. Trust me on that one I been playing the game since season 5 I know what I am talking about. I could explain why easily, but its simple logic that anyone with a brain should be able to understand.
4. Don't get tilted - Every lost match, is a free lesson. You will gain the SR you lost back eventually, it is not gone forever. Take that free lesson in replay viewer = you win more games = you rank up. The second you get mad, is the second you throw to lower ranks. If you can't help getting tilted, then don't play while tilted just take a break for a few hours\days.
The most important of these 4 is game sense. You could have absolutely the worst mechanical skill in your rank, but still rank up purely from having good game sense. Mechanical skill does not win games, brains do. Most but not all of game sense can be learnt from youtube videos, but it can ALL be learnt from experience playing the game. It can also ALL be learnt from watching replay viewer and analysing what you did good and what you could have done better. The more you do this, the better you will get each day. And the better you get, the higher you climb. Its really that simple, you do not need youtube XD. Look at it this way, you could watch a genji guide for 30 minutes and learn absolutely nothing. Everything in that video you already knew, so you just wasted 30 minutes for nothing! However, you could look at a match you lost playing genji (matches are typically 20 - 30 minutes so therefore the same or less time than it would take you to watch a youtube video) and you are guaranteed to learn something! RUclips - waste of time
Bruh rein gets his ult in like 10 swings soldier takes like 10 mags this rein is whiny trash lmao
great vid dad i really love it.
Hi Special, your discord link is expired could you post a new one and reply to this comment is some way so I can see it’s updated and join it
Hi! I changed it to an updated version ❤
Better off watching A10, he teaches the actual tips that help you climb
