In my opinion L kira aka L would be practically impossible to catch as he would never put himself in the same situations light was in and he'd never make emotional mistakes
I'm not so sure.
L connects with Kira initially because of their similar personality traits and mindset.
L's first appearance is manipulating a prisoner on deaths row to die for the sake of solving the Kira case.
L wanted to be known as the world's greatest detective, so it's not too far fetched that if given infinite power he'd succumb to it.
Plus, he makes multiple emotional mistakes. Getting depressed and missing Yotsuba clues, getting distracted by Shinigami and giving Light the notebook are two.
L also likes/physically go and meet people for info that could help him get caught. However he would be harder to catch than light
That’s what got L, his emotional side was conflicting with his rational side. That’s the entire reason Near and Melo were supposed to be a team to surpass L.
This is just absolute overkill.

Man, your content is truly amazing. I can sit and listen through your analysis’ on anime I haven’t even seen (i.e COTE) and still be completely engrossed. The only slight I have with the video is the conclusion, it feels abrupt.

Actually in literature, protagonist and antagonist do not have anything to do with "good" and "evil.". It is used to identify the main figure of the work and their opposing force(s). 🤓
I clarified in the video (and that the common stereotype is Good "protagonist" Bad "antagonist"

L being kira would give L a critical clue as to how light is inflicting heart attacks on his victims, because L has a death note himself and he knows exactly how it works.
So he hones in on light just as he did in the main timeline, perhaps this time motivated specifically to hunt down the holder of another death note.
L sets up cameras in lights room just like he did before, only now he knows exactly what to look for.
So as light reaches into his bag of chips and writes a name, L watches lights arm for any tell tale signs that he's writing something.
Now as light bites into that first chip beaming with pride, L has him dead to rights. Game over.
The issue with this scenario is that...... L would have to give up his disguise in order to send the agents in to arrest Light, because how would L have known that the death note was a thing? He would be put under suspicion himself which he can't afford to do; as he needs the trust of the police task force, FBI, and other agencies in and out of Japan.
L can just lie and claim he got it from another investigation in the past

Shouldn't this video be more about L as Kira, or at least Light and L working together as Kira? It seems almost all about Light. I wanted to know what would happen if Light and L are BOTH Kira at the SAME TIME, maybe instead of Misa.
That said I love your point that both of them would do worse in the opposite role. Imo L is a better cat and Light is a better mouse.

What would an L with a death note do to a Light with one? That’s what was interesting about the premise and he squandered it. He talked only about Light in a chapter deep dive then never really elaborated on the title. It sorta was clickbait
