Kijana Students Have Fun and Excel at National Music Competition

In early June 2024, Global Innovation School students travelled to nearby Bukolwe Primary School for the subcounty stage of Kenya's national music festival competition. Our entries included individuals and teams from lower primary through junior secondary level. Outstanding performances were recoginized, as eleven individual and team entries advanced to the county level, held in Kakamega at Lubinu Primary School. Kijana is particularly proud of our Scottish dance team portrayed in the video, who wore brand new costumes designed by our school tailor, Philip Oula.
