Especially children should be in bed (I do not know the time of your post (10 in the evening?). I am adult (60+), we go to restaurants at noon, we dismiss ALL restaurants which open at 18.00 (principle). Swimming, walking, at 7.00 in the morning (often earlier). I am an expat myself (but I really live here), personally I do not like arrogant tourists at all.
What would indeed be good is to forbid all-inclusive hotels, force guests to go on the street and spend their money (not at night I have to add, just during a normal day)
Nevertheless an interesting post (my opinions or on people are not too relevant)

I am Dutch and I have lived in the UK, Luxembourg and Hungary, all of the countries have their pluses and minuses, one plus (perhaps just for me) shops in Hungary open at 7.00 AM and after 18.00 things are quiet (apart from the odd theater performance), anyhow after 10.00 PM even middle sized cities are dead (good for me). We live in Mahmutlar, we have nothing to complain (in general quiet after 20.00 but certainly after 22.00)
They do things well!!
