    I've watched 6-7 homemade motorcycle lift videos and this is by far the best one. I've now decided this is exactly what I'm going to do with an added step of extending the height.

    • @raf3188
      @raf3188 5 лет назад +2

      Remember: by extending the lift arms, you reduce the lifting capacity. It will no longer be a 1500 pound bike lift (not important for a light bike).

    • @3campingguys431
      @3campingguys431 2 месяца назад

      @@raf3188 And you add some drop down legs to support it at a set height.

    Extend the the lift points and move the rear ones a little forward, then you can make the very back of it hinge, and or removable so you can drop it out of the way for rear tire swaps, especially for cruisers with longer rear fenders. Nice idea though

    My brain was approaching that idea when I went to the local tool and equipment dealer, we only have one in my whole province. I looked at a huge professional grade lift for 500 bucks, and the same jack you have for 150, then I thought why not adapt the small one, it has locking dogs rated high enough, but before I had time to conceptualize my idea I popped on you tube and saw this rather milenial style video with cool blues in the background, what's not to like? slightly modded to suit my requirements, wala.
