Those are the western style supermarkets. It's good to see Guyana is now getting developed and putting those oil money to good use and making Guyana modernized. The key when shopping at those western supermarkets is to buy only healthy items and stay away from the unhealthy items. The ones with lots of sugar and chemical additives. If you need any tips on western foods and which is better feel free to ask me or people in the comment section who is experience and lived in these western countries.

When you have a chance check out Shereen’s pastries in Scarborough, Toronto and punch up Guyanese pastries, bakeries and restaurant. Canada is one big melting pot with all kinds of nationalities. All the Guyanese fishes, shrimps everything sells fresh as ever in the Asians supermarkets. There isn’t any green and veggies Guyanese’s have that we don’t have. People also plant everything in the summer time. All the best.
From the looks of that Supermarket it look like it's one of those Chinese owned ones. What you can do why buying these western food is to google the brands and see which is healthy and which is not. One example if to buy Almond Raw butter instead of peanut butter. Western peanut butter the add sugar in them.
