This video shows there isn't just one "Santa Cruz Sound" (unless you want to use an overarching non-musical term like "excellence"). Their guitars are purpose built to the woods that they are made from, the body sizes, scale length, etc. and the sound signatures span the entire breadth of the guitar spectrum. Excellent playing and thank you for sharing these wonderful guitars with us!
No clunkers in that bunch ! My ears ( and your playing) continue to tell me that spruce over rosewood or mahogany still provide the best overall sound. The mahogany over mahogany certainly a good third choice.
First Koa and Walnut backed guitars I have ever heard that I really like the sound of. Of the bunch the Koa was very well balanced, while the walnut was a touch too shimmery for my taste. But very good all of them. OOO/OM very good size for Santa Cruz.
Great presentation and playing. Your style really showed off these fine guitars. I can't believe how loud that 00 is. I'll take one of each please, and thank you.
I had the pleasure to try out the 1929 00 all mahogany extensively yesterday. It's an amazingly well balanced, forgiving and well playing guitar that you can really fall in love with. With only a single downside in my opinion; the lows seem a tad too much muffled when you really need to hammer on the low e-string. I ended up buying a Martin 00-28 instead because I wanted a more allround and compact feeling small body guitar but I left it behind with an aching heart.
my fucking god, they're so expensive I am afraid of watching videos, so I don't damage them! XD holy shit, they sound incredible! Of course, cudos to the player, but my god, I am blown away!

1929 00 was the warmest so the best for me.

Thank you very much for a back to back demo the way it should be done. Beautiful Guitars...and great playing sir.

Thanks for your comment! I agree about Santa Cruz and 000/OM guitars - every one is great.

Thanks for listening and for your comment - enjoy that new Martin 00-28! Great guitars!
Great demonstration. After this video I’ve bought a H13
Thanks, and enjoy your new Santa Cruz!
There are lots of great guitar brands out there, but you simply cannot do better than Santa Cruz.
Oh boy, this is the sh*t. Masterfully presented...
Thanks!
What strings are you using? Using Elixer 13-53 now but have SC Parabolic coming to try.
They all have Santa Cruz Parabolic strings.

Yeah, they're pricey, but absolutely wonderful guitars. Thanks for the comment!
the first and the last for me
I own just one SC OM with tobacco burst. If I owned all 5 I'd never leave the house. Bad enough with just one.
Thanks for the comment - yes, they are fantastic guitars!
