Congratulations on 26K subs ✌✌✌. OK TV manufacturers, you see the the type of reviews that Joelster does? Thats what we come to see. We want to see them being used on Xbox, put through their paces, see how they look connected to pc's . So send this man some TV models to review .Thanks to Him I got myself a QLED now. I have been using a TV as a PC monitor for the past 10 years. and I'm just now replacing my Sony Bravia 52 inch with a Samsung Q95T. if the picture looks that good on a Q60R. I can just imagine what it would look like on the Q95T.
TV manufacturers understand that people rather seat on a couch or a living room with a wireless keyboard and mouse.
I'm not sure if the Q60 has an HDMI 2.1 or not. but the q95 does. and if you have a powerful Nvidia card then it should look awesome.
the days of sitting in front of a PC monitor are over.
that's why its important to make sure you get a decent TV for your PC
I just ordered my TV. so I can't really compare it cause I don't have the TV yet.
the 120mhz refresh rate should make a huge difference.

My God the colors on that tv with the HDR looks fucking incredible!!! And I'm watching this on my phone so I'm not even seeing it in real HDR. I was going to splurge on either one of these or the LG C9 on black friday this year, but I decided to wait until next yest when the Next gen consoles launch. Glad I did because as we all know the new Xbox Series X was announced a couple days ago and it sounds like its going to be a beast!! So I'm already putting money aside out of each paycheck to buy a next gen console and a new 4k HDR tv to go with it. I have a 2017 Lg hdr tv for now that will get me through the year until then. But man this tv looks amazing. Going to have to make a hard choice on what tv brand to go with next year.

So 120hz is only for 1440p that's a bit disappointing but if the up-scaling tech is as good as you say it shouldn't be problem. I'm coming from a TCL 49S405. I couldn't really tell the difference between 4k and 1440p much especially if I was lying down in bed instead sitting at my desk. Even then lets be honest 4k gaming at more than 60fps isn't happening anytime soon unless the games you're playing are old or low end like CSGO. Guess I can make up for the lack of 4k with lots of anti aliasing if it becomes a problem. My local Best Buy is having the 55 inch Q60Rs on sale for $699 so I think I'll hop on that.

You'il never be able to compete with other players in PUBG using Xbox controller it is so slow to aim... The best is the traditional keyboard and mouse I reccomend you to buy a wireless mouse and keyboard preferably the Logitech ones wich is one of the best wireless peripherals also you'il need a lap table! I play like that in a Gaming PC and I have one of the best experiences of my life it is so comfortable to play on PC with high framerates on TV and the best part, laying at my couch! Also that Q60 is one of the best cost x benefits gaming tvs right now!

It's budget, it works better with console compared to high end pc, no local dimming, problems if using soundbar + TV (limits to 60hz @1440p/4k) HDR proformance is shit (not bright enough)
Low imput lag is pretty much only thing worth buying the q60r. It's not really in the same product as the rest of the Quantum line.
Lg makes the better all round tv, but they only support the current line of tvs for software updates etc, compared to 3 years from Samsung.
If your gaming look for hdmi 2.1 instead of all current marketing gimmicks.

Hello Joelster, how did you connect your laptop to your samsung q60r. I have the same one and on my old Led tv everything is connect to my pioneer as I want everything to have surround sound. But this Q60R my laptop is not showing. Normally I will just switch my pioneer reciver to hdmi 2 and laptop show and I can use it. Right now I use HDMI ARC ON THE TV and Hdmi out and all are devices are connected to hdmi1 hdmi2 hdmi3 hdm4 bD. The TV is working when I switch the receiver to hdmi1 no problem but when I switch to hdmi 2 for laptop no image. Please advise.

Is it true that you have to turn off HDR to get 4k 120HZ? Samsung says the 55" and higher run 4k 120hz on PC and will support the new Consoles. I know theirs a video showing the Q90T running 4k 120hz on a PC HDR off????
