June 17, 2016. Liz Phair makes a rare appearance at the annual Hot Stove Cool Music Benefit: Celebrating Music, Baseball and Giving Back in Chicago.
Here she is starting off the night with "Polyester Bride" off her 1998 album, Whitechocolatespaceegg. Tonight, she's joined by Jimmy Chamberlin (Smashing Pumpkins) on drums and other musicians at a familiar place called, Metro Chicago. A stage where as she noted, Joe Shanahan help get her start.
