Great vid and info. I still like Newton, agree that the spreads have gotten pretty high, but for smaller accounts you can't beat the convenience and simplicity of their website. Keep up the great work
Yes I've heard of Netcoins before. They're more expensive than Newton and NDAX. To learn more about them, I've got a small write up about them at www.cryptoforcanadians.ca/buying-crypto. Hope that helps!
Thank you for the video, i want just to clarify something, convenient disent mean you have to pay more, convenient mean you are offering better service to get more customers, only north Americans who thinks that its ok to pay for convenient 😂. Newton is way too expensive !
For me personally, a great advantage of Newton is the fact that they pay the gas fees (up to 5 bucks), since I started with them I have paid no gas fees at all. I don’t trade ETH, so probably you still need to pay something.
Worst customer service ever if you have any issue, it takes months for them to get back to you maybe more be careful and they don’t allow you to do transactions sometimes at night sometimes in daytime so you can stay behind action action be very careful
Sorry to hear about your experience with them. Thanks for sharing that. Check out Ndax as you may have a better experience with them. Thanks for the positive feedback! Totally agree.
NDAX is the best. Newton is way too crazy spreads and fees.
Yeah I hear you. Newton's got more coins than NDAX though. But if you're looking to buy a coin that's listed on NDAX, then yeah just go with NDAX.
Have you guys heard of Netcoins (from Vancouver)? How would it compare to Newton or NDAX?
Yes I've heard of Netcoins before. They're more expensive than Newton and NDAX. To learn more about them, I've got a small write up about them at www.cryptoforcanadians.ca/buying-crypto. Hope that helps!
Ok, I'll look into it, thank you! 😃
Sure thing! My pleasure!

I'm not sure if I understand. I thought NDAX had the cheapest USDC purchase of 2.0% fee and the e-transfer fee.
Have you seen this video before? ruclips.net/video/Xw4QhEHJhVk/видео.html. It's about buying USDC in Canada.
why do you care about USDC? To me - it's either BTC or 'fiat'; why?
Don't you mean 0.2% fee?
Thank you for the video, i want just to clarify something, convenient disent mean you have to pay more, convenient mean you are offering better service to get more customers, only north Americans who thinks that its ok to pay for convenient 😂.
Newton is way too expensive !
Yeah it may just be a Canadian thing because we're such a big county by land mass with a low population density.
For me personally, a great advantage of Newton is the fact that they pay the gas fees (up to 5 bucks), since I started with them I have paid no gas fees at all. I don’t trade ETH, so probably you still need to pay something.
Yeah I hear you about them covering the first $5 of withdrawal fees.
It's a shame, because if your transfer fee is under 5 dollars you don't pay the withdrawal your external wallet.
Yeah I hear you. They're good if you buy small amounts and withdraw frequently I guess.
Can you compare bitget and NDAX please
They're catered towards different markets so it's a bit of a different comparison. Almost like comparing apples with oranges.
@CryptoforCanadians I am asking in a sense of trading fee, etc. Can we cash out to our bank account from bitget in canada.
No you can't cash out from them directly.
@@cryptoforcanadians is it good if we transfer usdt from bitget to NDAX and then convert there to usdc to cash out. Please reply
NDAX doesn't support USDT. Convert USDT to USDC on Bitget first and then send the USDC off to NDAX to cash out.

Sorry to hear about your experience with them. What do you use now instead?
Newton is just fine to buy ...and then move to cold storage. Keep up the informative vids!
Yeah for sure. Exactly why I said it depends on the person. Newton's certainly a convenient place to buy and sell from.
No they went insane. Great vid bro
Thanks! I appreciate the positive feedback.
Hi, do you have tutorial how to transfer from newton to coinbase?
Sorry I don't but why would you want to send to Coinbase? They're expensive.
But is it possible to transfer that? I find coinbase there price spread is much lower than newton, even if the fees are litty expensive

Maybe a video on 🇨🇦 tax advice when it comes to crypto
I've made a few some time ago and it still holds true now. Check out www.cryptoforcanadians.ca/crypto-taxes for more information about that.
@@cryptoforcanadians thank you 😊
@Mahdrek my pleasure!
What do you use to do your taxes here ?
I use my own records/spreadsheet.

Would you be willing to do a video explaining the CDC tax software? Last time I checked it was free.
I probably won't just because I don't use CDC enough to be able to comment on their tax software.
I pay for Koinly
