My old wellies have died, time to try some new ones. FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK / theoriginalfunkyfarmer INSTAGRAM www.instagram.... WEBSITE www.richardcornock.co.uk
I wear them exact Dunlop’s this years, they will crack beside the steel toe in about a year or much less. There rubbish but they only cost me €55 in our local Co.opp so I keep getting them. I have a pair on hunter wellies also and there great but very heavy.
I've wore these Dunlop wellies for past 15 years or so.... Normally get 5 winters out of them in every day cow sh1t! But current pair leaking after 1 winter in both feet and can't find any holes!! Dam😕😕😢
Richard I have been using those wellingtons for a few years they are brilliant the grips are tapered so they clean themselves when u stamp ur feet they look a bit cumbersome but u get used to them they are a hotel for ur feet I wear mine 10 + hours a day enjoy
Mucking our horses does the same to Wellibobs, I think it’s the ammonia in the urine. I’d had Aigle for years, but couldn’t get any to fit this time & invested in Chameaus. Flip me! I nearly had to take out a mortgage, so now they get washed off every day. Yes, I stiff anything new!😂
Hi Richard, I have owned a couple pairs of those wellies and I only seem to get 1 winter out of mine. The heal always splits I find. I dont think they are very warm either . I have recently bought some Bekina wellies and so far I'm very impressed. But time will tell to see how long they last
I have exactly the same boots here in Canada. They're awesome. You should try wearing them with your jeans or overalls over the boots instead of tucking them in. I find them much more comfortable that way. If I put my overalls over the boots then it stops stuff from entering the boots and getting in my socks. you should try wearing them like that too, make a video and let me know what you think.
I have the dunlops for many years now. Very nice. You'll get Sweaty feet. 😅But I had 2 pair which started leaking on the right one at the big toe. Dunlop replaced them. But I have to disappoint you, you'll never walk again on cheap ones. You'll feel every little stone under your feet. So only 1 year.... If you walk to long on them you will get a sore back and feet. Grtz from the netherlands
Morning Richard, they dunlop wellies are comfortable alot of farmer's in Scotland where them as they seem to last long. I find them good for when dealing with cows because there steal cap very handy.
Have you ever have a go with MUCKMASTER there expensive but I've had mine 5 years and I cant see them going anywhere soon. I do alout tractoer driving in them and when using the clutch on the tractoer all day dont seem to crack them. I would give them 10 out 10
I've got a pair of Dunlop boots the same as yours there bloody brilliant .im on my feet all day I'm not a light chap so the only issue I have is the inner sole tends to slip and wear dawn after 6 months so you end up buying insole's
Muck boots/ muck master boots are insulated, comfortable and the bottom half of the welly is made from very durable rubber. I have never had it split or tear on me
14th February 2019 was the vid of those old wellies so not quite a year? Will be interesting to see how long these ones last👌👍I had duckies wellie toke them back 9 months later and they gave me a new pair for free 😀
'what does a user manual tell you about a pair of wellies' It tells you how to maintain them so they don't rot away with leaving them covered in cow muck to start with.
Agreed. I have a pair without the steel toe cap for the last 4 years with almost daily wear. When they eventually go I'll get the steel toe version. They are like wearing slippers
Dad always had Argyl wellingtons.Do you remember them ? Short heavy buggers ! I had the green Nora's,£18 a pair in them days. £70 for wellingtons ? Good God !! ha ha
Very good wellies Richard but they are heavy !! I have a pair and they’ve taken some punishment with the peracetic acid and cow muck. I’ve had mine a year so time will tell after this winter.
I always wear Dunlop wellies. Only issue I find with them is the insole can wear out. So I usually replace them with regatta insoles which are brilliant. The original insoles lasted a year before I had to replace them.
Those wellies our the best :) how ever too wide for driving say a Land Rover and iffy when driving a quad but I still think they our the best and good value :)
Had something similar with neoprene boots I think it could be oil. When working near chainsaws my boots are regularly splattered with sawdust and chain oil.
They’re good wellies I do have a pair but they are cold weather wellies they make my feet sweat. I find them terrible for driving in as I can’t feel the pedals ! Just my thoughts
I think you'll find these clumsy and uncomfortable.. My last pair of regular puroforts split up the heel after 6 months.. Currently wearing le chameaus which are 3 years old and still going strong..
I'm on my 2nd set of Dunlop puroforts the - 20 chunky 0nes since 2009 with almost daily use, watch out for barbwire, they do take a while to get used to, but I think they are like slippers 👍🏻
My last pair of wellies were Dunlop wouldn't take a pair for nothing should be reported the UN for distributing instruments of torture in the end I spent a lot of money on a comfortable pair of Hunter boots extravagant I know but what price comfort

Stephanie Robinson nothings made like it used to be
Try throughly cleaning your boots every week or two, then apply a spray of 303 Aerospace protectant. Should greatly extend the life of the materials.
I bought a pair a few months ago and very pleased with them
Richard I have been using those wellingtons for a few years they are brilliant the grips are tapered so they clean themselves when u stamp ur feet they look a bit cumbersome but u get used to them they are a hotel for ur feet I wear mine 10 + hours a day enjoy
I used my Dunlop Purofort for 16 years at work when the weather were wet. Still use them at the construction site👌
I hope the wellie-bobs don't disappoint. They look a little clumsy, but farmers have recommended them. 🍺🍷👍

Yes, I stiff anything new!😂
I use Dunlop with good few years ones with steel toe caps great job never crack

You can get the normal Dunlop purofort wellies for about £40 and they last forever

Had two pairs of Dunlop’s purafort and both pairs split at the top near the steel toe cap

Morning from Ireland Richard.
Dunlop are very good
Hi I have being using them for years very underrated for the price top class for everyday use
Great pair of wellies Richard. Used to go through 2 pairs per year not looked back since i got the purofort plus. Well worth the price.💪👍👍
You won’t be disappointed
, Tbis is my second winter with mine
i have a pair of thermo+s aswell. worth every penny
How did they last over time? Looking for some now.
Have you ever have a go with MUCKMASTER there expensive but I've had mine 5 years and I cant see them going anywhere soon. I do alout tractoer driving in them and when using the clutch on the tractoer all day dont seem to crack them. I would give them 10 out 10
Good morning Richard, Dunlops are great, nice and light but will be sweaty ! Stick them in the freezer now and again to kill the smell.
Dunlop , really good 100%
Hi ya i have same ritchard but not steel toe cap what i like is the crap mud wash of them well
There's more tread on them than your tractor Richard !!!
I've got a pair of Dunlop boots the same as yours there bloody brilliant .im on my feet all day I'm not a light chap so the only issue I have is the inner sole tends to slip and wear dawn after 6 months so you end up buying insole's

😀 Ooooooo new boots! Wellie sniffing 🤣 nice one chap 👍🏻
I wear the 50 quid steel toe cap dunlop wellies they are very slightly different to yours but they do the job pretty well for the price
I'm a farmer and I would recommend bekina willes
I bought a pair of Purofort Professional Full Safety last week seem to be very comfortable cost £49.99
Try bekina wellies great job I have had mine for 2 years and still great highly recommended a pear

'what does a user manual tell you about a pair of wellies' It tells you how to maintain them so they don't rot away with leaving them covered in cow muck to start with.
Great welly’s very warm
Neoprene splits without any cow muck.
Get Bekina boots next time with steal toe cap
Agreed. I have a pair without the steel toe cap for the last 4 years with almost daily wear. When they eventually go I'll get the steel toe version. They are like wearing slippers
Yes Dennis I have a pear myself good wellies
I have the same problem with mine. Funny thing is they sell protective sprays at a cost. After a few cans you have nearly bought the wellies again.
Try 303 Aerospace protectant, 24 ounces for $15. If you just use it on your boots it will last a long time.
Good looking wellies good tread on them😀😀
Dad always had Argyl wellingtons.Do you remember them ? Short heavy buggers ! I had the green Nora's,£18 a pair in them days. £70 for wellingtons ? Good God !! ha ha

Dang mine last about half a month before needing to be replaced.
Nice one, I love the boots called muck master boots. Really warm got good lining, will be the best you have ever tried. Cheers
Those wellies our the best :) how ever too wide for driving say a Land Rover and iffy when driving a quad but I still think they our the best and good value :)
how does the size run?
I have a pear of Dunlop professional wellies
Don't think I've ever got 2 winters out if wellies, but then not a lot of dry weather in these parts so they're worn near constantly.
Had something similar with neoprene boots I think it could be oil. When working near chainsaws my boots are regularly splattered with sawdust and chain oil.
Nothing wrong with sniffing wellies 😉. I’ve loved wellies since I was a young boy
They’re good wellies I do have a pair but they are cold weather wellies they make my feet sweat. I find them terrible for driving in as I can’t feel the pedals ! Just my thoughts
Try the dunlop yellow ones been using them working at sea for years and also round the farm last for years and comfy all day long
that some nice big tread
Morning Richard 👍🏻
Like my Dunlop's Purofort 👍saves me from forking out 5p in shopping bags when the crappy ones develop a leak in a month!!!🙄
Try buckler wellies really good and reliable
Where are you finding all these deals for wellies man 😅😅
I think you'll find these clumsy and uncomfortable.. My last pair of regular puroforts split up the heel after 6 months.. Currently wearing le chameaus which are 3 years old and still going strong..
Best ones I ever got. Totaly worth a 100€
You should have bought the ordinary purofoot wellys not the thermo ones they still have a steel toe and are not nearly as clumsy for driving
U should try bekina wellies there are so good in my opinion 👍🏻
The wellies in bin sell on Ebay and you can buy a new pair
the most ive paid for wellies are usauly 10 to 15 pound basic but what I would do is buy a size bigger and wear thicker socks
Have the exact same pare
The ordinary Dunlop purofort wellies seem to be a bit less clumsy in my experience
And don't lat as well.
I got them very good wellies but the best wellies ive had are bekina steplite x
Agree with most guys here....Dunlop Purofort are the only ones ! Wet feet in wellies in winter is an absolute no no.
Try buckboots there the best by far
Now smell the old ones!
I have the same pair of amazon uk
I'm on my 2nd set of Dunlop puroforts the - 20 chunky 0nes since 2009 with almost daily use, watch out for barbwire, they do take a while to get used to, but I think they are like slippers 👍🏻
Nice 😁
Can see where harry get it from :-)
My last pair of wellies were Dunlop wouldn't take a pair for nothing should be reported the UN for distributing instruments of torture in the end I spent a lot of money on a comfortable pair of Hunter boots extravagant I know but what price comfort
I have seen some videos and all they use are flip flops, I guess they are real farmers lol
👍
They look like moon boots 👢
👍👏👏👏
Get muck boots
try not to get cow shit all over your hands and if you do,
dont pick your nose or scratch your ass . safe T 1'st . whuts a wellie ?
A bit like hunters ,a waste of money
like comment below, I really recommend MUCKMASTER. Love them
