As part of our on-going partnership, Mixmag teamed up with the Smirnoff Sound Collective to take the first ever Smirnoff House Lab in the US right to the heart of Las Vegas at Electric Daisy Carnival.
The Smirnoff House ran throughout the weekend on the grounds at EDC Las Vegas and featured headliners from across the board. The installation was strongly powered by a custom VOID soundsystem to keep the party bumping all night long. The Lab brought some of EDC's massive headliners to a packed Smirnoff House party along with some special guest DJ sets from Mija and Jauz, allowing fans to get up and close to their favorite DJs.
Friday saw Martin Solveig (house set), Ookay, Sacha Robotti, a wicked jungle set from Rusko, a surprise appearance from Mija and more. Jauz, Lane 8 and Ravell smashed it on Saturday and we closed out Sunday with Ferry Corsten back-to-back Markus Schulz (as New World Punx), a hip hop set from Brillz, a This Ain't Bristol takeover with Billy Kenny and Maximono and more.

Used to go raves in the early nineties in southern California Los Angeles San Bernardino , and the jungle rooms was the best. The bass was incredible. The djs out of this world. Miss those days

I don't get the hate for this set.
Is it the best DnB set ever? Nope. Has it opened some minds to the finest genre of electronic music? If it opened someones eyes to it then he did a bang up job. Mixing was tight, decent tune selection, real bass was involved. Job done. It's also nice to see DJs pulling out sets that isn't what they normally spin, it's wicked to see other sides of artists.
Really enjoyed this genre and this set, one of my favorites at the festival.

Hey dawg I'm the person in the white hat by the speaker goin ham as hell. Btw you gotta realize this was like the last set of night so most people were pretty beat. All that camera shake is from people jumping around because the floor was not steady at all. The whole house was shaking. If you look you can see him push the CDJ's back on the table because they almost fell off a bunch of times

I've never witnessed Rusko spin an all jungle-dnb set :-( I've seen him play live like 4-5 times 3 of those sets he played jungle towards the middle end and end of set , He always kills it never dissapointed Big ups to Rusko for his quality sets , Much respect to one of the Dons of Dub/Dub-Step
