I miss fishwheels! Nothing better than salmon straight out of the Copper! Thanks for showing how it's assembled and put in. Hope you'll post another video when the sockeye arrive :)
Thank you. I do like to fly the drone through beautiful country. I try to keep it close and make sure it doesn't interfere with other folks' experiences.
Thanks Dwayne. I hope to capture some video of how fish are caught in it. I am also planning to interview an 80-year-old guy that has some amazing innovations to go along with his fishwheel.
Love the views of the river and the mountains. When did you first learn about the landslide? Were you surprised when you came up on it? Does it happen often?
Thank you. I saw the landslide for the first time last year. Landslides are fairly common in Copper River country. Some places are just natural, others are a result of the warming permafrost.
Thank you, Glen. I was in the city for two days, and the best part of the trip was seeing the city slow fade away in my rear view mirror. The air is delicious this time of year, as you stated.
Love the drone shots!
Thank you. I do love to fly my bird, once in awhile.

That's true. Our fishwheel is still along the bank, but a neighbor shared a couple of reds with me already and they were delicious.
Love the music and drone footage 😊

I haven't seen one of those before. Pretty Cool
Thanks Brad. They are an amazing innovation. They came over with the gold rush, probably from Europe somewhere.

Country living sure is fine my friend, eh? I could almost smell the surroundings in your video.

'Not many waterfalls anywhere near where I am residing
Lucky you!
Thank you. Those waterfalls are through Keystone Canyon near Valdez. I'll probably include more shots in next week's video.
