This is reflected in Jeremiah and other places referring to branches broken off the green olive tree. Rev 11 makes similar reference and again per Ezekiel 37 these are the two ets, sticks boughs branches rods or trees that will be one in the hand of our Holy one of Israel, Redeemer, King Savior High Priest Messiah and brother. All praise Yahweh and Yahusha..Ieous in Greek or in modern Germanglish, Jesus. Yes original KJV uses Greek Iesous then after glorious revolution William of Orange insists on German Dutch Jesu which combines to Jesus.
I used to have little interest in the book of Zecharaiah because I found the part where an Angel with measuring stick boring. Now, I as listen to DP explanation, its making sense to me.
Made me think that all those bicycles were the audience that didn’t have a full understanding of the teaching so that they couldn’t put the teaching into practical use because there was a brake in the chain that could “drive” the gears of motion

To take it in the context of visual symbolism is consistent with the text. It seems unlikely that instructions for an actual crown were to be directions to be followed. It seems unlikely. The structure of king and priest continues though not earthly. They are two witnesses and that stays consistent throughout. Thank you for deepening my understanding of this awesome scripture.

I am guessing the other priests appointed him to that office.. but here it is God's appointment.. We do know by the time of the Lord's physical appearance the office of high priest was terrible. The line of David ...does it continue to exist?
