I'm born and raised in kcmo. Thank the lord for mitch. I only use his sauces and rubs. Can't wait to try that mustard sauce. They don't sell it at my price chopper.
Whomp is such an incredible BBQ sauce. I also don't hear people talk enough about how great Steer Seasoning is on anything beef related. I put it on my burgers, brisket, beef ribs, etc. It has a really subtle sweetness and the color it gives is out of this world. Thanks so much for the video Heath! I can't wait until the stigma around MSG dies and it gets added to these rubs.
The Meat Mitch Char Sauce is delicious. For my money, it's the best BBQ sauce you can get in the Midwest. I'm saying that as someone who has tried them all. Keep up the good work Mitch.
Man, tonight I had a feast. First, left-over pulled pork(made with Jalepeno/Garlic and Sweet Rub from Heath Riles) I always smoke a huge butt and flash-freeze leftovers. Pulled pork freezes great! For sauce I used the delicious Heath Riles Tangy Vinegar Sauce. Man, I don't know what you put in this sauce...But, the only thing I can compare it to is the now unavailable, "You Know You Want It " sauce, that has such a unique taste. I think this guy had a stroke and died, R.I.P. For veggies I had sliced tomatoes seasoned with Lawry's and black pepper. I also had green beans with sauted onions in bacon grease + black pepper and both of the rubs mentioned before, slightly scorched, Southern-style. Pulled Pork *IS* BBQ. There is no comparison, regardless what the Texans say about their faux BBQ beef, which is not BBQ.
Can imagine the airport is tough to hire for, at least quality. I’m typing this from the KC airport after I just got up and walked out of Meat Mitch after being seated. I’ll leave the details out of this comment but there is some work to be done there. I was bummed because I love Meat Mitch products.
Oh Yeah! Another great episode! I love hearing the stories of how everyone got started in the industry.
Same here!
Same!
Ate at Meat Mitch a couple months ago. Was really good. Definitely ranks right up there with the best of KC.
I still need to go visit one of his restaurants!
Mitch seems like such a cool, easy going guy. I love his products.
He absolutely is!
