George’s amazing ability to keep shoving guys in front of him around and backwards, using brute strength as well as an excellent sense of space and timing was an important key to his success, it was almost impossible to escape this man. Only saw Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield and Jimmy Young outboxing Foreman in Foreman’s almost 30 y spanning ring career, besides Tommy. But they absorbed a lot of punishment in the process.
You should read Foreman's autobiography on the Ali fight. Lot of dirty things happened behind the scenes. Sadler gave Goerge a spiked drink of water. He tired after just three rounds and kept wondering why he was so tired. I know a lot of people don't believe it but George also writes that when he wanted a second fight with Ali, Herbert Mohammed put a condition that it would happen only if Sadler was again signed up with George.
@@legend3706 I don’t buy the spiked water story, to me it was clear that Muhammad Ali got into George Foreman’s head, and the visible caused anger burned Foreman out, he threw caution and pacing to the wind 100% and went for a KO in 1 or 2 rounds. When that didn’t work out, he just got more and more angry and frustrated, burning out. So George consistently showed a patient strategy during his second career 1987-1997 and he won the greatest prize. I am not aware of the condition by Herbert for a second fight against Ali though, that’s interesting, and it could be possible, but I think in that case the only factor that would have been determining would have been Ali’s physical condition. By 1976, 1977, that would have meant taking even more punishment against George, not being able to defend and attack snake-like in years prior, with reduced speed and timing, George IMO would have had a serious chance at winning that rematch..

Man that stare down almost had me wanting to look away 😅
“Smokin” Joe Frazier was not going to quit that easily. Respect to both George Foreman and Joe Frazier they will always be in the history books.
Joe is a beast of power he could win that fight but it was his wrong tactic and he was not smart like Ali.
joe only needed to adapt but why? his way always was succesful
If boxing were Starcraft, George Formen would be the Ultralisk
George has great power in both arms
Two great fighters
Frazier staggering around the ring between knockdowns looked like a little kid trying to fight a grown man!
You can hear Angelo screaming..
"STOP IT ! , STOP IT ! , STOP IT ! , STOP IT !"
The only man whose punches were the weight of 10,000 lbs.
Man I can’t imagine just getting jabbed by foreman let alone taking full right hooks looking for the ko. Frazier was genuinely an animal.
