thanks for the video! i just bought a 89615-20090 89615-06010 knock sensor for 2008 toyota matrix. the old one had no reading in ohms, the new one doesn't either though?
does your test method work on this sensor also?

So the code can be caused by an old knock sensor wiring harness and not the sensor itself.

Looks like you have to remove it at all cost. The location on most vehicles is hard to reach

Put meter on ac scale (hit on vise ) you will get ac voltage
