    That Devon Achane take, 80 catches? You guys are already proclaiming Waddle as an early 2nd round pick, now Achane is possibly in line for 80 catches? Are these projections in the hope that one of Tyreek Hill's baby momma's sits on his leg and breaks it? Is Tua throwing the ball 60 times a game this year? What about Achane's volatility down the stretch last season? This picture you guys are painting of the Miami Dolphins, the numbers dont add up here.

    • @markhillis1249
      @markhillis1249 Месяц назад +7

      Dolphins fantasy stats will be volatile again, but 80 catches is less than five a game. One would think Hill and Mostert revert TD points to Waddle and Achane this year while Mostert will also cede some yards to Wright and to a change in Achane's role. I think Achane gets some of the short work from last year and Reek is working crosses scaring more defenders from the middle of the field where defense will be focused and Tua will have to learn to take the flats and outs given away. And they might just turn out to realize giving Achane the ball twenty times a game makes it easy to win and keep receivers healthy and they would rather run all year and breakout the counterpunch to the air to finish the year stronger. Team didn't pace themselves to peak late like tough teams do. McDaniel will be in the lab trying to fix that. Hill will sit a couple games along the way hopefully instead of accumulating all the boo-boos he gets playing in fast-fwd. Overall: project a better offense with way less Mostert and somewhat less Hill and the pie feeds everyone. Week to week variance will be a thing, but Hill and Achane get the floor in the lean weeks as ppr scams.

    • @pyatig
      @pyatig 27 дней назад +1

      They’re talking about upside cases. It doesn’t mean that they think both Waddle and Achane can get 100 rec, but it does mean that the 10% outcome for each is 100 rec

  • @dustinroberson1865
    @dustinroberson1865 25 дней назад +2

    The way I look at drafting, whether doing an auction or snake draft, is that it isn't necessarily about getting the guy with the highest value. It's about getting the guy that will give you the biggest value difference.
    If we knew exactly what all of the players were going to do all season and there were 10 receivers that were going to average around 25 points per game, and a bunch more were going to average around 20, but there were 2 tight ends that were going to average 20 and the rest were around 10, that Tight end is a bigger value pick early, because the top tier receivers will still be available.
    In a snake draft, if McCaffrey is available on my turn, I'm going to grab him, because I know him and a couple others are on a tier quite a ways above the rest, but if I'm at a point where I can get sam laporta or travis kelce or my second running back or receiver, I'm probably going to take the te, because the rb or receiver that I pick up is only going to average at most a couple more points than the rb or wr that I pick up on my next pick.
    Before the draft, break your players into tiers and know how many fall into the same category so that you can weigh your options and aren't just taking the guy that's left that you think will get the most points out of the position you need.

  • @cnking27

    I can’t trust best ball peoples ranking on Achane when it comes to season long. Best ball brain has broken evaluation on Achane. They get stuck on those 50 point weeks which are huge for advancement in best ball but help you with only one week in season long. He’s in a three man backfield that gets overlooked because of his “huge upside” but a 60 point week in week 5 doesn’t win you season long championships, it wins you one week.

He is a natural pass-catcher, can pass protect, and is a monster in space. Those three attributes make for a great pass-catching back. The better passing should open it up for him as well. People are just need some rehab from the Charbonnet hopium dream that he's this mystical pass-catching back and going to take away from Kenneth Walker. Najee Harris is inefficient. Plain and simple. Maybe that's why he's averaged only 3.9 yards per carry his entire career. If it was going to happen for him it already would have. I'll draft him at RB #25 but not sooner. I don't see the upside with a much more efficient Jaylen Warren in the same back field.

    Very excited for Najee this year. He will be more dominant than ever especially with the new hip drop tackle rule cause I swear every other run that’s how they tackle him. The funniest thing to me about the general public’s vibe around him is it shows a clear lack of understanding about the position and about the context that makes a good running back. Najee is a great running back who will be in the league for a long time because of what he does and how he plays.
    Not to discredit Warren a place for him exists aswell he will punish over aggressive Defenses like the Browns which is why he always flashes against teams that over pursue and give up contain. Najee requires defense to be aggressive, Warren requires defenses to be a bit more patient. It’s going to be fun with this offensive line. Najee will be loved by Smith at the goal line. Both will Shine I have more Najee because of the goal line stuff and often he falls more than Warren. Also Najee can catch
