Hoping you're uploading some Gandalf entertainment goodness soon mister. I'm enjoying the heck out of your videos. That must have been a lotta late hours you put in this wonderful channel. Thank you for your tremendous effort! I've learned SO MUCH thanks to your soothing commentary and your take on cards and different strategies. Old School sucked me right in. I'm assembling RGW Zoo with a couple of Land Tax's (+Sylvan Library) to avoid having to buy twelve dual lands. I'm a bit struggling with the creature direction though... Quick cards like Kird Ape/ Savannah Lions/ Preacher/ Argothian Pixies and Ghazban Ogre alongside a burn package versus more mid-range cards like Serra Angel/ Erhnam Djinn and Su-Chi accompanied by Giant Growth's and Berserks. It's so much fun to treasure hunt the oldest versions of the cards and I think the different directions with Zoo will be a blast to try out. Anyway thanks for all the entertainment and your infectious enthousiasm! ;-) Kind regards, Denise
Thank you so much for your kind words Denise. Yes I wish I had more time to make videos but they do take time as you mention and sometimes life gets in the way lol Anyway Im thrilled to hear that you like the channel and that it perhaps even contributed to putting you on the path of our shared OS madness lol. RGW brews sounds like great fun. If you want even more inspiration (and I don’t know I’d you already know this) that archetype is sometimes also called “NAYA zoo” and there has been a lot experimentation with it. Some setups of NAYA zoo specifically indeed use land tax with sylvan library and/or Jalum Tome and/or even Bazar of Baghdad to get some strong draw power going combined with a very low mana curve. then you don’t have to get many dual lands and the approach makes you much more resilient against opposing blood moons. It’s cool that there are so many cool ways to assemble and personalize these archetypes and the hunt for the old cards is a journey on its own for sure. Anyway thank you again for your comment and best of luck with brewing a fun GRW zoo/NAYA zoo deck! P.s. you might be glad to know that a new video finally dropped today ;)
Thanks for your kind reply! At first Bazaar of Baghdad doesn't feel like it's at home in a NAYA ;-) Zoo list, but as a combo with Sylvan Library I can imagine it being quite good actually, nice suggestion. A steady way to filter away unwanted cards could really add some speed to the deck. And indeed, with so much duals, a Blood Moon would have a huge impact. I'll keep this all in mind. For a cardpool that has been around for so long it's just amazing how fresh and original different builds can still be. Ahh yess, I noticed your upload and I'm going to check it out now! Merci for the heads up! An Angels and Demons archetype, right? That's a new one for me, sounds serious! Thanks again for all your effort Gandark! Cheers🙂 @@RaVNeFLoK
You should start playing canadian highlander 93/94. This format is blowing up and its the most popular 93/94 formay ive been able to generate in my area. 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 decks and games are more varied, fun and strategic
