When the frontman was messing up he used his right hand. When he succeeds he uses his left hand. We know from season 1 that he is left handed. He was just messing up on purpose lmao
I really enjoy how the show portrayed the relationship between the old lady and the trans character, because i had similar encounter with people, where there's a lack of information about the subject, which then leads to some wrong ideas about trans people, so when 120 explains about herself to the old lady, it does remind me how i had to explain it to others and we get to an understanding and a more open acceptance.
Her beliefs are more a reflection of her age and time, not her as a person. She lived through the Korean War, which was definitely even MORE intolerant to trans people than current S.Korea. Considering how nurturing and empathetic the old lady is at her core, had she been raised in more modern times, she likely wouldn’t hold any biased views or prejudices to Hyun-ju. Even though she doesn’t get it, she puts aside her thoughts and cares more about Hyun-ju’s comfort and humanity. I hope both ladies survive the 3rd season 😭😭
Squid Game has raised trans awareness and inspired others in accepting trans people or accepting themselves as trans way better than anything else in this world that has tried to do the same thing. What a great show
I loved this episode It was so hopeful and fun in a way, it had a certain light comedic feel at some point, seeing every character cheer for each other despite the circumstances was also really cute and wholesome I also love all the characters The mere feel of this episode made me like it more than season 1
@@CharlieBrown20XD6I reckon the Mom will die because apparently one of the new games for Season 3 will be Monkey Bars. So she aint making that. Unless her son sacrifices himself for her somehow but I don’t know how he’d do that. Either way it’s gonna be depressing because they are lovely characters.
The frontman is one sadistic, machavellian bstrd. Korean actors are so good that you forget that the son of the mom and son duo was the flying north korean soldier in Moving 🙂.
Yeah, and there's NO CHANCE that the FRONTMAN of the games wouldn't be an absolute master of ALL of the games. Recall what he said to Gi-hun: "I'll take whatever game is left." He didn't care.
26:55 Thanos is actually a rapper in real life named T.O.P and he was in a Kpop band named Big bang and the thing he was doing was actually choreography from the dance from the bands one song

Did anyone else notice that the reason Gi Hun's team went last is so that if they lost the game they could kill all of them except In Ho and no one would be there to see him not get shot.
I loved this episode since it had focused on the bonds among central characters from both Gi-hun and Hyun-ju's team.. but it also doubled my fears to watch the next eps since that felt like more death flags popping up 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
The Gong-gi is played by throwing five stones, pick one to throw in the air and pick up one stone at a time before it drops, next pick up 2 stones at a time, next pick up 3 and the odd one out, next sweep all 4, and finally the wrist flip to catch all five stones. The stereotype is that it's a girl's game, but me and my friends (all boys) played the shit out of it back in the 90's, making it quite an outdated stereotype.
as much as i know the Front Man is a ruthless person and obviously with sabotage Gihun, this episode showed his humanity a little by cheering on and getting excited for Hyun-Ju’s team. We also saw him getting frustrated. But of course that facade soon fades away. either that or the Front Man is good at acting
i think he’s having fun, because it’s a game. they don’t “want” everyone to die, they want a good game and entertainment. but he’s also very good at acting because spinning the top he wasn’t frustrated at all, he was using his right hand instead of his left. i think he’s just a really really sick man.
You notice the guards did not stop frontman from speaking during the vote. He did that just to create even more tension between the camps. Snaky ahole. 😁. He really hates that gihoon kept his humanity after having gone through the game. He himself became a monster and did monstrous things, I think to win his games. I reckon its personal for him , personal hatred towards gihoon.
Actually, Gi Hoon through the episodes has actually proven Inho’s beliefs about humanity and has slowly brought him to reality. Inho’s speaking up and seemingly trying to convince the O’s was actually a way to show Gihun the animalistic and trash nature that Inho and the whole organization believes. As well as in Ep 7. (SPOILERS) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . The fact that Gi Hun sacrificed lives for his rebellion and Inho had to ask him if he wanted to really do it has proven to Inho that Gi Hun despite seemingly saying that he is humane would still sacrifice others for his sole goal of bring the organization down. To be honest, Gi Hun seems like a hypocrite with his plan, it was especially obvious in S1 last episode when instead of helping the man, he just waited and played that game with Il-nam. After that episode, Gi Hun now has blood in his hands and his plan didn’t even succeed. Now if we talk about personal feelings, from my perspective, every action of the Frontman wasn’t driven by hate but rather a want to prove how right his ideals were to Gihun as we see him constantly probing Gihun about his morals and beliefs.
@@BlueminSpringYeeeah im gonna disagree with Gi-Hun having blood on his hands with that homeless guy last season. He wanted answers from Ill-Nam and the condition of that was to play his game. Even if he helped he would be clueless, Ill-Nam would have died, and he'd probably go right back to be directionless. If that guy had died and Ill-Nam won his bet then yes that guys blood would have been on his hands. However...... SPOILER for final episode - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Gi-hun definitely does have blood on his hands from his plan to sacrifice the few. But at the same time he wasnt wrong that there had to be some kind of sacrifice for the greater good of everyone else but unfortunately his plan was utterly pointless in the end.
@@DingoEnderZOE2 Clueless about what? The fact that Il-nam was doing it for fun, that Il-nam was sharing to him pointless information about his main reason for establishing one of these games? He had a choice to help but instead went through with games, in the end, although he does not admit it, Gi Hun still is a gambler through and through. Before, he gambled with his life and now he gambles with other lives as well proving the point of the people behind the organization that they are trash. (Ep. 7 SPOILERS) . . . . . . . . Episode 7, every single person in that rebellion except Gi Hun had a meaning to go against the game makers in such a risky plan. He was easily pushed around by Inho’s words before the voting started. Gi Hun wanted to convince others to switch to X but was easily swayed by Inho’s statement and decided not to which made it so that there was a tie. Now that night, when they had to revote the next day, Gi Hun knew they outnumbered the O’s and had a chance to win against them in such fight. Instead he chose to sacrifice people, and not help them instead to get out. His purpose was to bring down the organization and stop the games and even if that rebellion succeeded, what then? The VIPs were not there, the games would’ve still continued. In the end there was no such thing as sacrifice for the greater good because his plan was pushed by emotion and blindness of his world views. The ending of episode 7 should hopefully open his eyes to reality and that he’ll be smarter in Season 3 to realize that what the Frontman has said holds some truth.
@BlueminSpring Clueless about the motivations of the game and about the clients that endorse the games which played a huge part in his motivation to squash the game after seeing the recruiter again. If Gi-hun decided to ignore the game Ill-nam either would have not told him a thing out of spite or just let himself die. Sure it was an gamble but that gamble also restored his faith in humanity even further WHICH WAS THE MAIN POINT.
@BlueminSpring Also his plan was dependent on having more people willing to stand and fight with them and even the amount of people he had wasn't enough. There wouldn't have been enough time to recruit too many people before the suits came with tons more people to start shooting. So again at that point in time there was really no other choice but to take that gamble and sacrifice a few. The motivation behind that sacrifice is what separates him from the Frontman.. however it still doesn't change that blood is still on Gi-huns hands because of that failure.
I think game 2’s reveal should make us pretty sure that we won’t see any further repeats of S1 games after game 1. Not even squid game. That game just happened to be the finale game in that year and hence the show’s title, but I don’t think the organizers ever called the whole games by that name nor came up with an official name for the 6 games series. So we won’t see marbles or glass bridge again.
And, I think, nor should we see those games again. For the same reason why we didn’t see Dalgona again. The scenes featuring those games pretty much did all that they could’ve possibly done. I couldn’t really see much more being added the second time around.
@@KADANI-c6n look at his hands. We know from season 1 that the frontman is left handed. When he wass messing up he used his right hand. When he succeeded he used his left hand. He is totally faking it on purpose

I find the rule change allowing them to vote and leave with money after each game very interesting. While the rule allowing them to vote and leave with the majority was there in S1, because it wasn’t presented to them this way, it was almost out of sight out of mind. Also the rule change allowing them to leave with money after each game seems like it would influence more people to want to leave early with their winnings but it’s actually seems to be what is making a lot of them stay. Them seeing the “real” amount of money being offered to them slowly increasing with each game as opposed to the symbolic huge pot at the end keeps drawing them back in.
Of course the front man was messing up on purpose lol, it was very clear he was faking it and also clear that he's confident in all the games when it comes to his abilities.
