#456 should have been suspicious from the beginning, because in season one, 001 was a big reveal for him. I guess poor writing is to blame for that oversight.
I feel once the frontman won his year of doing squid games, he was similar to our main character but was more prone to the dark side and worked his way to frontman. Now when seeing Gi-hun win the contest but choose to play a deeper game than just enjoy the winnings which most probably do, this intrigues him. Especially since its rare in humanity and squid game proves that by being a data set for a large portion of the population like a study group over decades. The outcomes are cyclical yet certain variables allow for special outcomes such as someone wanting to become management or devote their lives to stopping the games. I feel that the front man wants to see if he can change Gi-huns ideology due to either seeing himself in him or his brother in Gi-hun. Psychologically, hes trying to save himself yet consciously he feels hes trying to save his brother by saving Gi_hun. Deep down, he wants to save himself but by following Gi-huns logic, the frontman knows its literally a battle against good and evil. Its a pointless battle when you understand human nature plus how the infrastructure of human societies are ran. Stopping squid games isnt going to stop other games that exist in the world let alone other evil activities. The frontman has the Red Hood mentality(A high profile Batman character) of controlling the evil instead of playing whack a mole like the good guys does. Rant over lolol.
Player 246 is the dad in the beginning with the girl that had the blood cancer, that’s why 011 looked at him for a long time during red light green light
36:17 it’s true that’s why he joined the games and he won and also became the frontman in s1 you can see his name in the player list when the police officer was searching for him
The difference oh il Nam and the frontman is, oh il Nam give chance to everybody who really want play the game but frontman just want to see gi-hun suffer
IIRC, the Front Man said he doesn't care about organ harvesting itself, but it was the way they did it; trading info on the next game to the doctor it gave him an unfair advantage. I think he said something about how these people were downtrodden and at least here everyone had an even playing field to succeed. And that may be ONE reason he injected himself into the games, to try to counter act any advantage he may give to a few people, unlike how he tried to help everyone in red light green light.
In the discussion with the captain, Number 11 stated she joined the games because she thought she'd be helping people who'd lost hope by putting them out of their misery (or somesuch), so it seems very likely she won't be down with further torturing them by keeping them alive and injured until you can harvest their organs.
Episode seven has a large tonal shift, so don't feel like stressing yourself out to cram it into an episode if you're teetering on if you should or not. Also, props to the elder that plays the mother character, she has some guttural vocals that she puts her whole chest into, love her acting.
34:09 cannot be Il Nam' son, he told GiHun his brithday is on 24th October, and front man according to his file born 2nd February 1976. GiHun birthday is 31.October😅
To everyone dealing with the winter storms, be safe. Snow piling up here in Ky for the second time this week, so bundled up ready for some Squid game. Mr O says, "this room is as scary as it ever was" and Mrs O says, "its cute its all pink and pastel, love it", lol. Thanos and sidekick r asses we have our game villians, but some comic relief. Seon-nyeo is crazy. New games, yay! Thanx so much, take care, Peace
The reason we know there's truth to what the front man said about his story is it matches the conversation between his mother and his brother (Jun-ho). It also ties into the fact that he want ballistic on Thanos and his friend when they taunted him about saving his lecture for his own kids.
1. The trailer really had everyone thinking Thanos was gonna be Deok-su 2.0. He was clearly nothing like him as soon as he fought the Front Man lol. But we'll see who the Deok-su of this season is soon enough. 2. Really evil of the Front Man to vote keep playing when even Il-nam voted to end the games. On the flip side, it was cool they got us to root for him against Thanos despite being the bigger evil and his backstory of losing his wife and child really humanized him. It A LOT he could spare Thanos after he insulted his child when Deok-su only needed a broken bottle to beat someone to death
It’s funny Mrs. October mentioned Survivor. Since y’all big fans figure I’ll share a random story that just happened. I don’t know if yall remember old cranky Randy from 2 of the seasons. I had to go grocery shopping at Dillons(Kroger). When checking out I look up and deadass Randy is a cashier at my local store. Had no idea he was from where I live. Again random but felt like sharing with other survivor fans.
They had majority voting in season 1 too. But the biggest difference is they can now leave with their share of the winnings while they left penniless in season 1 as all the money went to the dead contestant's families as bereavement pay.
this is how you pronounce Gihun name: “Gi”, the ‘g’ is pronounced as in pronouncing give, game, goat “Hun”, the ‘u’ is pronounced as in saying boom, moon, cool. love your reaction btw ❤❤❤
About the Shaman character: Today's South Korean society is a society where five faiths, Confucianism, Buddhism, Shamanism, Catholicism, and Protestantism, coexist. Christians sometimes also go to shamans for fortune-telling, and the shaman herself refer to herself as ‘seon-nyeo,’ which can be seen as a similar concept to angels in Korean shamanism
I've been watching your reactions for a few months now, and ya'll have become a favorite channel! I love your chemistry together and your insights on things, can't wait to see what you think of the rest of the season! Sorry if ya'll have already seen it, but I would recommend Alice in Borderland if you like this. It's similar in that there are death games but very different in other ways.
It's mindboggling to me that so many people have watched this season and not figured out who player 001 is, lmao. The show literally showed and told you who it is, last season. And this season. Did everyone conveniently miss it? Not The Octobers, I haven't watched the video so idk what's going on here but I mean in general.
Not only that but even in Season 2 when Jun-ho woke up from his coma, it showed a flashback of his brother unmasking himself as In-ho/Front Man up on the clifftop. Then it showed it again a second time after Jun-ho lied and said he didn't remember who shot him and then it showed another shot of In-ho again from the flashback, just in case viewers had forgotten who he was. So they knew you might not remember who he was or what his face looked like so they showed it to you 2 times in the first episode. Not sure if people who reacted to it and didn't recognize him were just looking down at the time they showed the flashback two times or if they were talking to eachother and weren't paying attention to the two flashbacks but that's the only explanation I can think of. If the reactors are reactors who don't pause and talk a lot or to eachother during the scenes, they might have been eating, talking or looking away when the two flashbacks were shown again and that's why they don't recognize 001? Only explanation that I can come up with.
Quick question for the community; By any chance, does any of you know why most of the pink guy's sentences (between after the game and before/during voting) end in what sounds like "-mida"? Just curious, thanks :)
@@Kekekekenn I figured it was something along those lines, since I also noticed it when someone spoke to someone higher up/supervisor/boss etc. But thank you for clarifying :)
To me 001 is trying to prove to gi hun that no matter what he tries to he won’t be able to save the world and people will always choose to play the games no matter what he does… I hate to admit it but the front man has a point… you can’t change people
Your guys' memories are terrible but you are still my top4 reactors. ❤ FrontMan' story is true. S2 beginning bro and mum talked about that FM excepted bribe, and could not save his wife. Here we know it was not bribe just vendors tired to to help him out. Bro probably knew nothing about the pregnancy.
From someone who used to follow a lot of BigBang's activities before, i dont really find TOP's performance cringe. Guess Im just happy to see him on screen again enjoying himself. But if i wasn't TOP biased, i probably would be MGK cringe too.😅
@theOctobersReact Korean is an honorific language, kind of like Spanish. You’re supposed to use different words depending on who you’re talking to and how familiar you are with that person. Hyun-Ju (player 120- the trans woman) being called “Unni” by Jun-Hee (player 222) is a big deal, because she’s respecting and acknowledging Hyun-Jun as a woman identifying as a woman. “Unni” is a familiar word used as a young female to a slightly older female, it means “older sister” For example, if I’m hanging with a friend who’s even a day older than me, then I would use the word “Unni “. The words change with gender. Younger female addressing older friend male, the word is “Oppa” and it means older brother. HOWEVER, if you are a younger male addressing an older friend female, then you respectfully call her “Noona” which also means older sister, but only if you’re a boy. Again this word changes with gender, so a younger guy respectfully addressing a familiar guy friend, the word changes to “Hyung” which means brother. Season 1, there’s a scene during the Ggambu episode where Seong-woo says to Ali “o you should call me by my name” in the subtitled translation, but in Korean he actually tells Ali to call him “Hyung” or “brother” as if they’re familiar friends, which is why it sucks SO BAD when Ali gets betrayed, because Seong-woo really really deceived Ali by letting him think that he thinks of him like a brother. It’s especially cruel and I think that gets lost in translation.
What's your theory on Player 001?
He's the Darth Vader character of the show IMO. I think he'll probably have some redemption in season 3.
I think he needed to and should play. Never force people to do what ur not willing to do urself. I agree with Josh below, prob a Vader.
#456 should have been suspicious from the beginning, because in season one, 001 was a big reveal for him. I guess poor writing is to blame for that oversight.
player 001 is the man in the mask the dectives brother

Psychologically, hes trying to save himself yet consciously he feels hes trying to save his brother by saving Gi_hun. Deep down, he wants to save himself but by following Gi-huns logic, the frontman knows its literally a battle against good and evil. The way Tony jumped when player 001 was revealed "That's the front man!" 😂😂😂😂
Yes Thanos is TOP kpop rapper, this is his comeback to the spotlight he had to play the role himself for free. 😅 He was blacklisted cuz weed usage.
He didn't have to at all, where are people getting this information, Google is free
It was completely his choice, but yes he was blacklisted
for free? a u tripping? he got almost 1m us dollars for this drama, and only Korean people tried to sabotage him, global fans always support him
meanwhile we have RDJ and Johny Depp 💀
Player 246 is the dad in the beginning with the girl that had the blood cancer, that’s why 011 looked at him for a long time during red light green light
I am commenting as watching - should have just waited for you guys to realize it in the flashback lol
at least did not spoil it for them😅
Triangles are the soldiers, Circles are labors, and Squares are Management.
Yess , That Purple haired Guy is a professional successful KPOP rapper in a Group called BIGBANG .. Stage name is "T.O.P"
Man the frontman reveal was everything - 2 precious winners in the games now….love you your reactions!
See this guy actually paid attention. It's wild that anyone didn't figure this out as if there was a mystery.

The front man’s story is 100% true, only he didn’t make it out of the game in time and his wife (and unborn child) died.
41:28 Mrs. October turned into a whole rooster, she was so shook😂😂
Edit: I suppose more hen than rooster haha
I laughed so hard at this part, I love her reactions 😂
‘Love the captain’ oh see you gonna eat your words😂😂😂
One of the only reactors I've watched that realized that man was 246 and not the 244 that was called out to be hit. Yay for the observational crew! 🥰🤣

If you pay attention real closely you can see that the front man was.... Left-handed

Also he and Jun-ho have the same dad.. if your dad was a multi billionaire I doubt he’d let his daughter in law die.

You guys should watch Banshee (with Homelander) and Warrior, they are hands down the best shows ever with amazing characters and insane fight scenes!
So funny 😂
The tittle of the video "we shooked"
And then thier thumbnail be like: 🙂😐😬
29:00 Jun-Ho's kidney was transplanted by his brother, which was why he couldn't donate a kidney to his wife, like Jun-Ho was telling his mother.
She needed a liver.

the front man is a previous winner......great vid guys
Finally everywhere I scroll on the internet I’m just getting hit with spoilers waiting for y’all to drop
I dont know about you, but if someone screams, "dont move or youll be deleted, im not moving....."
Thanks to Tony and Brooke! 🦑
19:10 He is the father of the little sick girl.
so happy to see this!!
this is how you pronounce Gihun name:
“Gi”, the ‘g’ is pronounced as in pronouncing give, game, goat
