Developing a Thriving Golf Community

This workshop “Developing a Thriving Golf Community: Tips from a Successful Operation 36 Pro” features special guest Landyn Lewis, PGA, who is the Director or Instruction at Tucson City Golf. Lewis is an award-winning Operation 36 Coach who has grown his coaching business in the past year.
Lewis said, “I have been coaching Operation 36 classes and hosting 9 hole play days since January 2022. We are just now about to crack 100 ‘golfers created,’ currently with 20 people in Division 1, and another 94 golfers in Divisions 2-6. I have offered a variety of session lengths, starting with 8 week sessions, then 4 week sessions, and now 6 weeks. All of them have worked great but our 6 week sessions have been most popular. Since we started programming we have grossed over $60,000 in sales. This year we are averaging anywhere between 40-55 golfers in our play days.”
