With many golfers shanks are caused by centrifugal force moving the club head slightly farther from the body at impact than at address. The easy solution is to address the ball off the toe of the club. The centrifugal force then moves the head to where you hit the ball in the center of the club face. It takes a little experimentation with impact tape on the face to figure out the starting address position of the club head in relation to the ball.

I love this concept. I think a lot of golfers could benefit from this just in terms of thinking of it as playing golf from your correct distance. Don’t be ashamed to play golf from the forward tees or even further up. The round goes faster and you can shoot lower scores. Love it.
