Nice review! Still debating over this D3100 and the T2i.. just because the T2i has a mic input =/.. Would the features other than the mic be better on the d3100?
@tkoch33 test both in the store! i thought the d90 is way better, but in my hands it didn't feel nice (too heavy, too big, etc), so definitely the d3100!
@tkoch33 if your new 2 DSLRA than defenatly the d3100 is better if your gonna start a strong start that the D90 is awesom to .. i know i i dont right english well ;p im not english ;p .. i hope i helped
@Gibson2471 the d3100 ia much better, its got live view, more megapixels and it only 100 ish more than the d3000 depending where you look, but a good camera is good as you dont need to upgrade it cos it will last a long time, without being majorly outdated, the d3100 is the best spec entry level at the moment, so i would go for the d3100 rather than older d3000 =] hope this helped

They should make a battery grip (or dual battery) for the D3100. Longer lasting batteries are really useful. I really hope I can get this camera.
seems like Nikon have finally knoe what Canon is doing , and the D3100 looks like the best Entry Level DSLR if i'm not mistaken .

@Gibson2471 d3100 has more features and important ones,not just the extra 4 megapixeli ,so you should buy the d3100
