- And here we are, finally at the starting line.
Rather than animating "Meropos," the series you all knew as "a prequel" or "Season 3" We've decided to do something else. The series known as Meropos is completely detached from what Glitchtale was. This is a brand new story with original characters and its own setting, and considering that, this story serves as a better introduction to the world and everything else. I'll be animating the series Hollow Hunters, which happens in the world of Meropos and acts as a story that happens in parallel with the Meropos timeline.
Having said all that, I'm currently animating the intro that will play in every animated episode, this song will be playing in the background of course and once I'm done with that, we start production on the very first episode of this brand new animated series.

I like that the story is going to be a new thing but how was Meropos going to be relationated with Glitchtale after all?
The only way to connect it that I can think of would be adding Copper, Agate and Amber, or maybe you mean that there will not be monster characters from Undertale except Gaster maybe?
Hyped to see how it is, I just want it to atleast be consistent with what we know about the lore of Glitchtale and don't just simply throw all Glitchtale lore into a trashcan
from what I've gathered in the Discord server, Hollow Hunters and Meropos will now be their own thing, but a _very_ similar version of the events we'll be shown in the series will be what happened as the backstory for Glitchtale

Don't be surprised about her throwing lore on the trash on a whim, she does it all the fucking time. Basically forget almost everything you knew.
@@LunarFTW no need to be that negative about it, its just a serie, besides I would only get pissed by it if the lore was a masterpiece, but it isn't, so no need to say it like that, besides almost every game, show or anything always has messed up parts in the lore, is something inevitable, so just let the rest enjoy whatever they want or at least make a constructive criticism.

1) Trying to find positive things about it over the years
2) Pretending it does
3) C*mila's nonsense.
People can like it all they want, I'm not saying they can't, I'm just saying how it is. By the admission of people in her own server (me included), the lore changed every week at the drop of a hat because she thinks something is cool, without taking into account what she said before. Having "messed up parts of the lore" is one thing, the other is what she does.
Also, by her own admission, Meropos is its own thing essentially unrelated to GT to the point that events that happened in the series physically can't happen, like Rave almost dying from lack of magic.

@@LunarFTW just because Meropos is now its own thing doesn't mean Glitchtale's magic system is messed up now. It just means that Meropos isn't an exact backstory for Glitchtale anymore. The stories are still similar.
So does this mean that glitchtale will be no more i mean tbh season 2s ending was fanominal and a perfect stopping point but im kinda sad to see it go anyway ill be watching eagerly to see your work progress still my favorite anime artist and ill keep hosting little discord parties to watch ur work and dragging my friends deep into whatever ur next project is keep up the incredible work ❤❤❤
Yeah I am kind of confused myself here. Is Glitchtale officially…done? Like done-done? Honestly as much as I am excited to see something new and original from Cami, I feel there was still a lot from Glitchtale that wasn’t finished/explored. Like what about those two videos of Young Gaster and Kody? And the rest of the cast?
The story of season 2 might continue in the future. But for now, it's Meropos time.
From what I understand, this new series happen in the same world as meropos, but with a different set of characters. So there is still a chance(and a very high one) at meeting some of the og characters like gaster, asgore etc... But they won't be the main focus of the story.
Yeah glitchtale ended but merepos is a glitchtale prequel which takes story 1000 years ago
@@DarkEditz2379 that's actually not the case anymore. Meropos (and by extension Hollow Hunters) will now be their own thing, but a very similar version of the events we'll be shown will be what happened in the past of Glitchtale

I was listening to this whille reading the transcript.....doesn't, kudasai mean "please" or something like that? But I don't see that in the matching transcript line, I might be misunderstanding though
The translation is a literal one from a machine. A few Japanese people in the comments have pointed it out. It’s not been looked over by a translator or native speaker and it’s painfully obvious.
I applaud the composer and the singer though. However the lyrics need reworking to sound natural.

She knows that, but it’s better to have a series that’s both good and original, rather than one that has Undertale hold its hand. Quality of content over quantity of viewers. Playing it safe can sometimes destroy a lot of potential. I 100% support her view.
