Seriously I'm enough of a noob in the survival genre in general but the building in this game is so good that I have been playing it just for that alone which I know a lot of people do. I'm also a noob when it comes to these building type things so thank you for showing us something simple at we can easily pull off as a first try, this will really help me with future builds and trying to make my own designs, cheers
I just started playing. This video and another from RJ convinced me to play. I made it to this area but I decided to build just below your location to be closer to the river. I’m roughly .40 sec mark of your build. Lots of back and forth gathering, but it’s so aesthetically pleasing it’ll be worth it. Thank you for your video.
I'm not sure if you're still checking your comments or not but this is the very first dynamic base that I've ever built and let me tell you it is the best layout for a base in my opinion I've been able to defend the space from countless raids it's the best thanks for making a video that actually shows how to make a base step-by-step instead of just fast forwarding keep up the good work dude looking forward to more videos
This build seem awesome... both practical and aestheticaly pleasing. I definitely have to give it a try next time I play Conan. Thank you such for an inspiring content
Not a bad template. Excellent for a starting point, with room to expand and customize the design for personal tastes or purposes. I could certainly imagine have 6 or even 7 of these scattered all over the map, your own TINY empire if you will.
do u make a design before u start to build or u just go with the flow? can u show us ur thought process.. seem so complex but really cool how u plan every thing .. usually how long does it take to come up with a design?
more often than not I build what is in my head. I see what can be changed and build a second time already recording a video. it often takes a long time to find a suitable location on the map. if it is shown then in stream format. But I do not speak English )
@@LyumiLight oh nice.. no worries. recently found your channel and i am binging through all your videos. you are really talented! hope you become a architect and make similar cool stuff in real life. :)
Great video! I have a hard time visualizing how a base should look. This gave me lots of inspiration! I will for sure use many parts of this during my build. Just tore down the stupid box I had built!
Built this base finally and it looks great. Is there any improvements or add ons you'd make. I know this video is a few years old now but is there any ideas you'd have to improve it or expand it
Does this base still work if its 1 square panel less. I've found a small area that's kind got a natural draw bridge to it so I thought your base would be idea. I'm finding tho that it's to big a base for the area so I'm trying to down size it but doing so makes the 2 buildings left and right not square. Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks 😊
Just built this, took me a while, and had to troubleshoot some what. But it was a great build. I was hoping to put an insulated timber gate in, but for the life of me I can't get it to fit. Even though this is a symmetrical build, I can't put foundations between the towers, I'm always left with a small gap. Any tips?
@ 5:04 Pleasant base, but fails to take advantage of the rock to its right. A base should always control the highest point in the neighborhood if at all possible. Otherwise enemies can use the high point to attack from. Beginners, don't be afraid to build on uneven ground. It may be a bit harder, but the increased security will be worth it.
To be fair the giant "hole" in the front door is already a pretty big security flaw lol, I would treat this as an "I'm friends with everyone base so no one steals from me".
@@LyumiLight i like it but why no gate, i mean you had what appeared to be a giant opening to the base and if people were gonna copy this i assume they would want a gate , plus if they put in all the work to gather it and such by then i say fuck why not go the extra mile for a gate
start in the desert, less dangerous purges there, get a few thralls level 20, give them some swords and just then move up to the north with your base. be ready with some materials, so you can build the important outside parts reachable for the purge in t3, put the thralls on the outside et voila.. never lost a single structure peace to the purge by following that plan.
Building with wedges in this game gets so confusing for me. I don't get why they didn't make the wedges a 45 degree slice of a square foundation. I feel like it would make so much more sense.
It's because they're not equilateral. The hypotenuse is always the longest side of a right angle, while with the 30 degree angles are all the same size as the square foundations. You'd need completely separate pieces of any and all angled walls or nothing would snap together properly.
@@fightingdukaki im pretty sure there is the technical possibility to make a normal wall shift her lenght if put on the hypothenuse of a right angled foundation. im missing the 45° really bad too..
@@fightingdukaki Have you played with the Pythagoras mod? It has exactly the pieces you're describing - 45 degree angle wedges and long wall pieces to match the length of the hypotenuse. It just means adding a few extra building pieces.
This base is far from beginner. Beginner would imply basic stone tools are being used. The amount of stone required for this base would take an eternity to acquire using stone tools.

Nice fortress
I’m actually using this tutorial to make a cool base on Palworld
Great video but I do have a question. At time 4:10, your button number 6 , what is this piece name?
Thatched Awning. it is available for 50 lvl. just use a regular roof
You can always tell it's a good build when it starts with 6 wedge foundations. Lol
This build is amazing and I’m doing right now but have a problem, I can’t flip the thatch wedge roof upside down, does anyone know how to do that?
the roof cannot be turned upside down)
Dang
Why doesnt anyone put down the starting mats so we know how much to roll

Thinking about giving a sub
Just got the purge for the first time, lost literally everything, hoping to find some good base builds

I can't get the thatch wedge sloped roofs to clip
bro thanks for ya tuto build i like hell much what i do thanks
When I try to place the thatch rooftops it's not letting me place the 2 upside down ones
roof parts sometimes interfere with each other. try to put them in different order
I tried for a while and couldn't get it so I just put ceilings up there and just put fences around it
Also I like the base a lot so I'm gonna sub
how do i get that view? i always have to build with my character in 3 person
