Problem solving like that for 5 minutes just to realize nothing is going to fix it, so you have to just figure something else out that will work instead. I think with those diagonal pieces, if you switch to the other piece (the inverse version) and snap it backwards, it works. Then you can switch to the correct piece. But I forget.
For me this is what Conan Exiles shines the most. Its pvp mechanic is beyond horrific but the building mechanism is astonishing. You've almost infinite possibilities to create whatever you want

I like how you made use of the natural environment. The waterfall and keeping a pool inside the base. Recently I have watched a builder completely covered his pond floor and build a well in another part of thebase.
Oh my god. I nearly died laughing after you tried to place the triangle and it just wouldn't go. 😂 everything was so relaxing then chaos. Lol, you always have to modify your plans around what works. This is a beautiful build!
I love bases that incorporate waterfalls from the in-game environment. Had a great time doing something like that with Argossean pieces on Isle of Siptah, in O12 (on the map). There's a giant waterfall over there on the edge of the island that's really fun to do things like this with. I bet you could do something awesome with a spot like that.

I don't know if it's the most practical/convenient location to build in, but I was personally happy with it. And I just thought...the ocean/waterfall fit very well with the Argossean aesthetic. But I think any building pieces could work, and it doesn't really matter what particular place (as long as it doesn't hinder other players, when sharing a server). Waterfalls are just cool lol.
Creative mode is one of the best things they added to Conan Exiles, if you are getting that itch to just build something awesome, turn mode on and go wild!

thats actually almost the same building i did a year ago :P Nice that someone came up with the same idea :D My Version was interior with the Maple Withe Building Set and exterior was sandstone to blend in with the area. When you walked inside the whole building looked like a secret Haeaven in the Exiled Lands and all people on the Server could hang out there, it wa the declared safe zone for trading and socializing on our Server

Okay I watched the walkthrough and it makes sense now. Not the part where you'll actually get horses and prisoners in and out, but the space saving purpose. It's a game so I can see convenience trumping realism.

Tried to replicate, got to 2:15, then you did some voodoo placing those 5 ceiling stones in a row without support, then magically connecting them with walls after and i threw my hands in the air. I'm not out for the fine arts :( Edit: was lack of stability of course. had to build in the walls below, no idea how you did it without though. Edit+: Ah, structural integrity from Expertise traits...
Nice idea, well executed, wouldn't have put the thrall chamber IN the house myself. Plenty of room on that flat piece of land on the right, looking out, for that sort of feature.
All the door way work would've pissed me of as are main builder but i like the conservatory of the build makes me put my own ideas in my head as you go so i can try it out in my own way
I built in this spot before except I made a tavern at the top of the waterfall and had the water flowing through the middle like a feature Edit: if anyone is on console and wants a fully operational taven to come trade drink and play chess let me know I shall build one!!
if you could make this same base in another waterfall would be really great or similar, please make one i'm really bad at making my own homes! i like this a lot but the place was taken :c

I perfer a top down approach to building all entrances up high well defended but low grade While the moat secured is down low with the strongest material's and has fortifications and active defense but still separate main entrance goes around the outside to lower level defense but the insides are reached from up high
I have to ask, where is this location on the map exactly? I'd love to try and recreate something like this, as I've come back to the game after a few years away. But I don't know where to find this waterfall...
I like your builds alot but following and trying to rebuild is really hard coz you tend to redo alot of stuff so i pause, build and then have to redo again. just a little critique. still good video!

So we gonna ignore the huge dafari camp above the waterfall or the 20 algators or the 13 exiles camps nearby. Literally, one exile cam was right next to the foot of that. How do you build around that? Wish i could just delete the huge camp.
Very cool design. My only complaint is that I am pretty new to this game. Very new to building anything more than either a short square box or a tall square box. I’m trying to follow everything your doing but the video is going like 1000 miles per hour. I know it’s gotta be sped up but maybe you could slow it down just a little so noobs like me can follow you better??
One of my biggest problems is time. I usually use x2 speed, I have to, otherwise the video is too long. To solve this, go to the settings on the youtube video screen. (prnt.sc/Yzj1GrXZfx16) Try slowing down the speed. If the sound is bad you can turn off the sound. 😇

Great design, my best Conan build was a Roman Bathhouse, having water in your base really makes it so different.

Seen no purge..building purge bases next to locust..gives good results..any agressive wildlife with boses..a hood purge base local.

yes it is noisy but when you go to the sound section in the game settings, you can turn down the waterfall sound.
