Great video Laur! LOVE the point you make about "just taking BTS" - I 1000% agree. We aren't doing "just" anything. We are curating gorgeous video memories for them throughout their entire day, we spend SO much time ensuring we get every last memory & detail for them and then afterwards are working just as hard to deliver their content & edited videos based on their plan. So much more goes into what we do (or should)!
As someone who has been doing wedding content creation developing strong relationship with phot and video helps not only the couple but also all the vendors involved create seamless content and truly makes the day that much better

I want to do this so bad In Florida! I know I have the taken, I just don’t know how to start? Like where do I advertise myself? I just moved here so I don’t have many people I know, only a handful. Should I make a google profile?
Hi Laur! Thank you for this video! I'm a social media marketer by day, with a few weddings under my belt for friends who were so thankful for the raw moments I captured for them. So, I've started thinking about becoming a wedding content creator, especially after the experience I had with my own wedding, where I barely got any of those candid moments back from friends and family. My question to you, in terms of TikToks and filming tiktok trends, do you film them on your iPhone's camera and then edit to the sound? Or do you film directly in the TikTok app? I've done it both ways and I'm curious which way you think is more efficient. :)
You are welcome! It was a fun video to make and i'm excited to see how it changes and evolves with weddings! I actually have a blog post on this entire topic - but I do not film anything directly in an app (to me you are just waiting for a disaster to happen). If I am at a wedding and editing in realtime then it is on CapCut and if it is after a wedding it is on a third party software (Imovie, final cut, premier,etc...)!
@@PlanWithLaur funny you say that, because I was filming in TikTok recently for my friends wedding, and it started glitching on the last shot we needed! Had to end up recording in my camera app and add it in later. I use CapCut as well for all my mobile editing. I’ll definitely check out that blog!! Thank you so much!

You should put a stickers or a magnet on your phone during the group photo " look at the photographer" or " don't look here"
