First non-manufacturer sponsored demo I've seen of this amp, in which the host actually bothered to learn what this amp is about. Cudos for that. Most of the other folks are going straight to the "Hi" channel with the gain all the way up and chug-chugging through metal riffs because they thought this was the Mark 6 or the next Recto because they didn't bother to even read the manual, much less research Boogie's goal in making the amp. Good demo! Best amp on the market now for old school classic Fender fans. Design, to over-simplfy it a bit, is sort of a cross between Fender tweed and early Marshall, with the Tweed showing up more on the cleaner to medium gain range and the "Marshallier" sound aspect showing more from the middle to higher gain ranges. It gets really tweedy sounding with the pushed clean and low gain drive tones, then slips toward a JTM45ish tone with more gain.
Just ordered my Fillmore 50 head... for guys like me that play country & classic rock this is a God send! I could've just got a fender hotrod deville but I love the look of a head & cabinet.. then I found this! The look I want the simplicity I need & its basically bulletproof built quality 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

This in a 25 watt model with a 30 watt lone star in stereo, nirvana. One of theser days. If my playing only merited gear this good.

mesa boogie is great! the lonestar has amazing cleans, but this filmore sounds SICK. I need to play one of these asap

no it's not. the higher gain stuff sounds muddy and unresponsive at lower volumes. I own one of these and yeah, that's what it is. @@JeffBee1
Pretty much gotta go to at least 1/2 max volume to get it cooking - but that’s not an issue for me!
